Birdy was given him a last supper, or last meal on death row. But she didn’t give him his choice, it was fry or nothing. I never heard of a death row inmate having a fry, although if we had this punishment in Ireland and England I think a lot of fellas would have a full Irish/English for their last meal. 😋
they must have fallen into a plot hole when they were younger.

Enjoyed that last episode, it really delivered, but it does seem we’re back to season 1 again - Amanda in charge, another child with Michael (I presume is the daddy). i think Frank was terminally ill and didn’t care about what happened to him and credit to the writers, there really was no glorifying criminality in last nights episode, it was very gritty.
Anyone get the feeling Michael might know where they are and has been in contact? He looked like he might be holding something back in the car with Jimmy
I got the impression jimmy felt abandoned as he asked Mikey why she didn't take them with her too.
Viking is only out for himself. Plus what happened to an "in law" aunt probably wouldn't overly concern him. Also got the impression he's alot younger than jimmy and Mikey so she could have been gone before he was even born.

And so it comes to an end. Someone here predicted Frank would off Bren. Well done that man. Otherwise what was the point of the character all season. I did hear the suicide warning & immediately knew it would be poor Frank but thought he’d do it after Bren beat him up.
Viking cares a lot about Nikki. That part was touching when he tried to win her back.
I’ve seen Aidan Gillan die in 3 different shows now. He does it well.
Overall not a patch on Love Hate but mildly entertaining. Just wish the pace was faster & more happened. Also there were some amazing characters in Love Hate such as Nidge, Fran, John Boy & Darren. None of the characters in Kin past or present hold a candle to them in my humble opinion.

She isn't pregnant from Michael, her and Jimmy were in IVF at the beginning of the series and it took, even though they are now separated.
The Bren character is worthy of anything that was in Love/Hate, in my opinion. Only Fran was as big a nutter, but he wasn't a child abuser. Bren is/was a monster.

Well that's season two! Easily as good as, if not better than, season one.

Thought the top performances for this one came from Aidan Gillen as Frank, Maria Doyle Kennedy as Birdy and .. the Writers. Well done folks!
Wow, freakin hell. Didn't think it would be Frank. It all made sense as it happened though. Memories of him as the boss from season one came flooding back.

Very good season finale and definitely an improvement on the first season
So what's the bet on the gun been empty for when Frank shot himself ?. Bren was a good character tbh and the next Vilian will definitely need to step up.

I doubt it was empty. Frank would rather end his life then face life in prison.
Amanda definitely lost the IVF baby as she was in hospital & they found no heartbeat. She’s found out she’s pregnant 5 mins after having sex with Michael & a scan & all 🤣 If only life was that straightforward. I don’t think they’ll kill Anthony off. She’s already lost Jamie.
Would watch Fran all day compared to Bren. He was just a funnier more watchable character in my opinion. Had depth & layers. Bren wins best baddie in 2023 for sure though.

About time someone else said it I'm late to the party and was reading through the comments. Amanda couldn't possibly know she's pregnant that takes weeks. I don't think she will have a baby because they can't have her with 2 kids with her husbands brother that's just overboard and season 3 they are coming for her fast and heavy both the police and now that fella she got to put the money in the account that's tapped and the fella who was getting the drugs.
