@hairyslug Do you know if it’s ok to open the “Clerical Officer 2023 Stage 1 assessment” link just to have a look at the familiarisation material without having to start the actual assessment until a later time?

You can read the familiarisation material now. Then go back later to do the assessments.

Also, is it just me or are there fewer people interested in this year’s competition than normal? There are very few people commenting on this discussion compared to previous years
It’s all fairly straightforward. The familiarisation stuff explains it well.
There are also less questions that what was in the example test.
Assessment Questionnaire 1A is very straightforward. Around 20 questions including experience of Word, Excel, Internet, email, etc.

bottom of this link but to be honest, it doesn’t really cover what is asked of you. Section one is about your work experience, section two is scenario’s and how you would react to them
@TeamWork How many words would be expected for each response on 1A?
also, does it matter how long you take to complete it?

Are there practice tests anywhere for the CO online assessment. I found one on public jobs but looking for more. I found I wasn't quick enough working through the questions on the one practice test I did.
No no there’s no practice tests it just says what’s in the test
while I didn’t find the practice test much help with this assessment, the familiarisation form that you will have received gives you a good explanation of what is to be expected.
And above it was said a webcam was needed. Is this true?
@The_Kitty There is no example test in the familiarisation material. A practice test is not necessary for part 1A. Part 1B is Situation Judgement Test (SJT). You could Google that as there is no Clerical Officer SJ practice test on Public Jobs.

How do they go about scoring part 1A?
I know there’s a separate nsso thread but it’s quiet, I assume no one has heard anything. Thought they would be quicker as it’s an external company running it and it closed a few days before this one
