Didn't that house appear on some tv programme. I can't remember which one but I've definitely seen it before
This one has a really strange shape outside. Inside is nice though.
Nice house, shame about the amount of space lost to slopey ceilings though.
It's a real 1970's design....there's an estate in Sutton in Dublin of similar design, pretty sure one of the houses was on "Room to Improve".
Lovely house, how much is it on sale for ?
£385k
Wow, that some price drop. Tearmann was launched to Market just over a month ago at €1.85m and it has dropped 21.5% to €1.45m. Somebody's dreams have been shattered.
I wouldn't worry at all about the traffic on that road - you just need to follow the rules that all the residents observe. In the summer you only ever drive Monday to Friday and you'll be fine. If an emergency trip to Clon for provisions is required at the weekend it needs to be completed before 10am or after 7.30pm.

I've cycled past this hundreds of times and thought it was apartments, turns out its a €1.95m 'cottage'.
I can already feel the midges from sitting on that deck over the river in the summer.
That's an ugly looking house!!
For 2mil I'd be hoping for something better tbh.
Inside was grand. Very neutral. I think I preferred the utility room to the main kitchen, but I liked all the windows of the kitchen.
Can someone explain wtf a "plant" room is?
Look at the neighbours houses. Both started off as small bungalows and now have big extensions and then also both have another house in theirs gardens.
A plant room is where all the equipment to make the house function is kept - boiler, pool filter/heater etc.
Ah right. A classic "tell me you're poor, without saying you're poor" 😂
Ugly house! But very nice inside.
I particularly love the flooring - a welcome relief from the super-shiny tiles that feature in so many modern houses these days - that warm, dull sheen of the parquet is absolutely beautiful. If I won the lotto, I'd redo my complete (substantially smaller!) home flooring in that.
You also have the consistent drone off the M50, especially as the living area is on the top floor. And the constant clacking sounds of tyres on the expansion strip on the bridge.
Small living room as well. The Owendoher is liable to flash flooding as well. Though I'd say they thought of that.
All the rooms look too small to me - maybe its just the way the photos are taken. For €1.95M I would want bigger living spaces and a better garden. Its not a well planned house IMO. The living over 3 levels would drive me nuts - no wonder they need a lift!
This house wouldn't be decorated to my taste but I can how it would appeal to plenty. Under 200k sterling seems cheap enough, maybe they are tryingto get a biddingwar going. I worked in Dungannon for a while but I'm not familiar with this estate, but it looks alright.
The fisheye lens is cranked to the max on this one! On photo 22 in the babies room: why is the wardrobe at an angle blocking the view from the window, is there something to hide?
I think the changing unit is also at an angle.
Maybe the wall isn't long enough to fit all the furniture along it. I know I've done similar but didn't block a window.
Cheapest house in Cork that has an intact roof.
I was reading through the list of features in the description that this fine property supposedly has but didn't see any sign of the 2 velux windows. At that point I realised the feature list is what it's supposed to have after you pay to knock it and build a new house yourself. Only estate agents get away with that kind of shite, he might as well say it has a 24ct golden toilet and the walls are covered with Caravaggio paintings
At least you're actually within walking distance of a supermarket, but Jesus that is grim.
And that's before I mention the barred windows on the side.
There is absolutely NO outside space, as soon as you step through a door you are on someone else's property - someone who is not apparently prepared to pave that very manky looking driveway. Nowhere to put bins, nowhere to park.
There is an altogether more appealing site very close by in Broad St, much bigger and already cleared (but no planning) for 55k. 242 sq meters as against 64. Does that 64 sq.m. include the potential two floors, or is it just the ground area?
https://www.daft.ie/for-sale/detached-house-the-chalet-golf-links-road-bettystown-co-meath/4718540 - I'm sure this must have been on here before. If not.... voila, here you go. €255,000 for a 'chalet' in Bettystown.
The Bettystown chalet, ideal starter home at €255,000!!!! Not a hope in hell of getting a mortgage on it.
I have a feeling that or something similar featured on here previously and then disappeared very quickly off daft or whatever site it was being advertised on.
That's alot of wood!
I think it's better value than the earlier Ross Cottage, though I preferred the decoration of Ross Cottage.
It's alot of money for one bed and the toilet set up is abit cramped.
Looks like you've a driveway and a manageable garden so not exactly the worst either.
It deffo has more outdoor space and somewhere to park the car. I'd be a little skeptical of it's BER C2 though. I can't imagine it being cosy in the winter. Also the wiring in the living area looks a bit concerning.
That bettystown one is a very small step up from a caravan!
Looking at it on street view the road has a mix of bungalows and twostorey houses. So I wonder if you could get pp and build something bigger..... probably works out as an expensive site though.
Is there still a market for pub licences's - if the purchaser was to sell the licence to client, say, in somewhere like greater Dublin where there's ample business for more pubs. The going rate for a full pub licence during the 'good times' of the Celtic tiger was €90k. to €120k. even half that would put a good dent in the purchase price of what could be a fine family home with perhaps some potential for B&B etc.
Lovely views but I don't know the area at all.
odd one this with the office lease and the set up, tenant in situ til 2026 at least,
price probably reflects that, could be lovely
