Same, dirty rag/sponge/brush full of grit washing the car is a swirl disaster. When I leave the car in for a service I ask them not to wash it.
I'll happily take it home dirty and not touched.
Actual tow hicth doesnt come installed, will be in a bag in the frunk or boot.

Ordered a M3 on the accelerated delivery option yesterday. Went to the pre delivery screen where they ask method of payment but price is 5k higher as grant hasn't been applied. I presume I just go through this and then grant is applied at a later point once they have a VIN? Or should I contact tesla?
Normal. Just ignore it until the paperwork goes through.
Is their trade in of existing car option worth exploring or just better to sell privately?
It depends on how you value convenience more than price. Tesla are not known to offer competitive pricing for tradeins as they have no dealership and basically offer the details of your car to the trade and forward the highest quote to you, to take or leave as you decide, no negotiation. Whoever buys has to service, add warranty and make a profit so if you can sell privately you may be better off …but also can be a lot of hassle.
Choice is yours to make
According to Vector Motors, Tesla also take a cut of the trade in and don’t pass on the full price trade are willing to pay to the customer

That is reasonable .they are a business not a charity and this is an additional service they provide

Looking great – I like the standard covers, I have to say.
Also seems that I might have been driving a tractor until the Model Y as I find the suspension excellent. Comfortable one would say – but driving mostly in Dublin so that could be that.

Yeah, I can see the right OMSP is 53,752 but revenue has marked it 62605. But it looks like that is also wrong for M3 RWD at the moment right?
I have delivery date of June 12-27. Received text from Tesla this morning "arrival date is being calculated" - all Tesla caveats accepted I should I expect a delivery date to be sent fairly soon?

M3 RWD standard black/black ordered April 16th (I had MY on order from Feb 4th but cancelled this)
I opted for trade in for my car. Once i accepted their quote, it says next steps "Proof of insurance is required to take delivery"... does this mean proof of existing car insurance or new tesla. I don't think we can get new car insurance before the reg. Can anyone help me understand?
It's fairly normal not to have the registration plate number the day before delivery is it? Picking up tomorrow and all is complete on my side but I don't have a number yet.
Reg numbers usually go out around lunchtime. Look in your account, there should be additional documents there with proof of registration.
Insurance is for US only. It's not required for Ireland
