Are we any closer to knowing of Prigozhin is serious about his declaration of withdrawal or not? Is he really willing to pull out, allow the Kadyrovites in and give Ramzan a potentially easy win? Would he not consider Kadyrov a rival for Putin's favour? The whole things sounds like a recipe for disaster, from the perspective of the Russian war effort. Not that I'm against that disaster taking place, obviously. If PMC Wagner and the Kadryovites shot at each other instead, that would be quite a positive development.

Yet you seem to be insinuating that I'm suggesting Ukraine is full of Nazis by saying it's a Russian talking point. I'm not.

And I've never stated anything to the contrary. All I originally did was post some info on the battalion the Irish guy was with, who was unfortunately killed, and certain posters get utterly hysterical and start flinging wild accusations.
It's a piece that basically states the obvious, that there are relatively few far-right fighting in Ukraine, and that's there's low appeal to extreme right types as it's a fight for democracy and freedom (against a totalitarian foe).

It appears the Irish man that was killed in Ukraine recently was serving in the 'Bratstvo' battalion. Seems to have been founded by someone called Dmytro Korchynsky. Korchynsky appears to be a religious type figure who previously founded a military grouping called the 'St Marys' battalion which disbanded in 2016. Bratstvo means 'brotherhood'. The units motto is "In Hoc Signo Vinces" meaning "In this sign thou shalt conquer".

Article dated 2015 about Korchynsky and the St Marys Battalion. He had a political grouping also called Bratstvo then as well.
