@Wolf359f I can't for the life of me figure out why they would say they shot one down when they didn't.
You can't for the life of you figure it out,
Does the word "Propaganda" mean anything to you,
What does a basaltic phase look like?
The one from the Netherlands was 2 lunchers and missles not full batteries and radars
Thats right, two launchers and missiles, but in cooperation with Germany in a joined package
The Netherlands have 18 batteries in total, both Pac 2/3 missiles
And i cant see why Ukraine shouldnt get the pac 3, its the only one that might have a chance against anything hypersonic.
Unpowered and flies in an arc. Radar can pick up the speed/bearing/height and calculate where it will be at a certain time. The fire control works out when and where to fire a missile to intercept it. It basically follows a predetermined path that can be calculated.
The Netherlands has 18 batteries,,,
Are you sure ...
I'm pretty certain that the Netherlands Only has 3 operational batteries and a 4th kept in reserve
So why not say they shot one down months ago, if it was just for the "Propaganda"?
It's just a ballistic missile, as you said, and as you said, Ukraine have already shot down 2 ballistic missiles so far.
Seems a funny coincidence that after they received AA systems that can shoot them down, that they decide to go the "propaganda" route.
Propaganda would be: Days later, Russia claim to down 2 Ukrainian ballistic missiles over Crimea and post a picture of a crater with no missile fragments.
@Wolf359f So why not say they shot one down months ago, if it was just for the "Propaganda"?
Because they didn't have patriots months ago .
But again patriot missles pac 2 or 3 even you wouldn't get an intact missle after interceptions, it's a very violent impact of two missles colliding at mach 4 in the case of the pac 3 interceptor and mach 5+ of the kinzhal..
What difference does that make to eagle eyed people like you, who despite PAC2 & PAC3 missiles/systems being able to take them down, you still think it's propaganda? Would the most logical thing be that Ukraine shot it down but wanted to keep it quiet, but unfortunately photos surfaced and Ukraine had to admit to it?
Makes a little more sense than a double bluff and the much sought after patriot system not being able to intercept a ballistic missile?
No,sorry,18 is the whole layered defence in one battalion, including patriot,NASAMS,Stingers, radars etc, just mixing up the numbers
They only have 4 patriot systems
It appears the Irish man that was killed in Ukraine recently was serving in the 'Bratstvo' battalion. Seems to have been founded by someone called Dmytro Korchynsky. Korchynsky appears to be a religious type figure who previously founded a military grouping called the 'St Marys' battalion which disbanded in 2016. Bratstvo means 'brotherhood'. The units motto is "In Hoc Signo Vinces" meaning "In this sign thou shalt conquer".
The Irish guy is on their Facebook page here: https://m.facebook.com/BatalionBratstvo/
A picture of Korchynsky is on their Instagram page here: https://www.instagram.com/batalion_bratstvoua/

Article dated 2015 about Korchynsky and the St Marys Battalion. He had a political grouping also called Bratstvo then as well.
What's your point?
You keep coming out with these weird ass posts riddled with veiled insinuations against Ukraine.
If you have a point, make it
Whats your point, apart from posting stupidity? What insinuations have I made against Ukraine?
2 day's for Bakhmut to fall before victory day celebrations. It's also last 1 full week into may. I've said it before but I was sure it would fall in February. Glad I was wrong.
Piece from the West Point's Combating Terrorism Center, dated June 2022, about the Bratstvo Battalion. Says at that stage it had Belarusian, Danish, Irish and Canadian volunteers in it's ranks.

acts like innocent Barbie then proceeds to post next garbage confirming exactly what DaCor was saying u do. lol.
Yep, Westpoint (which trains us army officers) puts out ‘garbage’. Quality comeback there…… Did you even bother to read the whole article before you started pounding your keyboard in response? I notice you or DaCor haven’t posted anything to refute what i posted either. Try harder please.
In news that will surprise noone, Prigozhin announces they have received enough requested ammunition to continue operating in bakhmut
Almost as if everything he says publically is not to be trusted.
Are we back to Ukrainian Nazis already??
It's a piece that basically states the obvious, that there are relatively few far-right fighting in Ukraine, and that's there's low appeal to extreme right types as it's a fight for democracy and freedom (against a totalitarian foe).
Next up, another clunky thinktank type piece confirms that there are, in fact, very few Islamic radicals fighting for Ukraine.
And I've never stated anything to the contrary. All I originally did was post some info on the battalion the Irish guy was with, who was unfortunately killed, and certain posters get utterly hysterical and start flinging wild accusations.
Solovyov is just a pathetic little pawn.
Yep, while pretenfing that we're not, as usual
Expect "Just asking questions" and "Do your own research" to rear their heads
Cool.
Yes, but without admitting it this time.
Cheers bro. I actually want Ukraine to win this bloody war. But post anything that whiffs of not following the party line around here and the thought police are straight in and charging around like a bull in a china shop. It's darkly funny actually because they're copying those they loudly claim to be against........
No, just repeating Russian talking points for the millionth time gets a response like you say.
Full on victory celebrations in naas racecourse at the minute. 100s of cars with flags. Music blaring. Proper party
Is that right? As far as I can see is you're posting articles without offering an opinion or reason as to why you're posting them and then claiming the thought police are out for you, why is that?
We live in a Western society (I'm assuming you are too) where the right to hold a differing opinion is allowed. This concept seems to be lost on certain people round here. Don't understand where you're getting the the "Russian talking point" angle from. All I've done is link to the Bratstvo Battalions own web page and post a link to a US Army website (West Point) and provide info on a single unit, yes a single unit. Yet you seem to be insinuating that I'm suggesting Ukraine is full of Nazis by saying it's a Russian talking point. I'm not.
