Looking at the photos of the missile nosecone,it was most likely a kinetic impact missile,like PAC 3 since pac2 using proximity fuse and explodes when near the target,and would have left alot more smaller fragments on the missile itself

The article is 5 months old so things may have changed. They are believed to have stockpiled a lot of components so the effect of sanctions would not be immediately felt anyway. Perhaps 2023 or 2024 production rates will decline.

Ukraine received 2 Patriot batterys, each one potentially can have 8 launchers. You're basing your assumption that they are all loaded with PAC-2 missiles?

You will also see in the second picture, the launcher looks to be loaded with both PAC-2 & PAC-3 missiles.
Did the photo you see show the front or reverse?
PAC-2 could have also shot down a Kinzhal missile as it travels in a basaltic arc on it's final.
You haven't really presented any evidence dismissing Ukraine's claim.

Some went to Poland and one to Ukraine, and 2 to Slovakia,the US provided the second and the Dutch are supplying parts,

Anyway, even a PAC-2 missile could have shot down a Kinzhal missile. So if Ukraine does not have PAC-3 missiles, that is not proof they couldn't have shot it down.

I'd say the next two weeks is crucial, Russia are consolidating their positions ,latest I read coming from Ukraine they still think there's 25,000 Russians in bakhmut backed up with tanks and vehicles, but there's not a lot to hold Ukraine wise yes it's a Russian meat grinder but the Ukrainans are losing numbers too ,
The kicker here for me is Russia has devoted more men and effort in taking bakhmut than they did trying to hold karkhiv and Kherson ,makes zero sense to me.

The system above could have shot down a Kinzhal missile in the final basaltic phase.
Question isn't what system Ukraine received, it's if Ukraine shot down a Kinzhal missile or lied as you suggest/claim (what ever wordplay you want to use to get out of it. Oh they didn't lie, it was OPSEC etc....).

You posted a photo of an un-fired, (fins weren't even extended) pristine basaltic missile sitting on the ground, months ago as a claim/proof Ukraine can shoot down basaltic missiles. Forgive me if I'm reluctant to take your analysis on a photo of the remains of a missile.
PAC-2 which Ukraine have or PAC-3 (which Ukraine may have), can both down a Kinzhal missile.
I understand Ukraine denying it at first, for obvious reasons. I also understand why they admitted it after (as the pics got out and the news broke)
I can't for the life of me figure out why they would say they shot one down when they didn't.
Certainly could be more to it, but no reason to start on the fringe of possibilities despite the evidence and statements.
