Thanks for update, its really a revenue issue I suppose but its just Tesla cant get their customer service right by keeping you updated. I suppose at least its a good few of us by the sound of things so have reason to keep on top of it, the cars are likely in Baldonnel or wherever else they store them just waiting for this to be resolved.

BTW, I reached out to chat this morning to see what the story was (playing dumb on the VRT issue, just to see what they'd say) and all "looks good" from their point of view on the order. I guess like @Jakeredwood said, bad and all as Tesla are to deal with this one is frustratingly on Revenue.
I also reached out to them and they said there weren’t “in a position to comment” and “not aware of any issues”…

what car did you order? I ordered model Y RWD since end of jan with delivery 12-27 June and not sure which ship it is on .. I checked Heogh tracking and the VIN is not on their ships
I ordered M3 LR base config nothing extra same delivery window as yours. My assumption is the first batch is arriving on 9th May 2023.
you mean the ones with a delivery window of June 12-27 are already in Europe? If so guessing it was on Grand Champion? I checked on Heogh and my VIN is not on theirs. Btw I ordered a MY RWD white/ black in Feb and currently showing June 12-27. Ye have a hidden or visible VIN?
I have a hidden VIN for both orders. M3 RWD and M3 LR standard. Both orders were placed on 13th Feb.
I have an EDD 12June-27June. Hidden vin. A poster mentioned earlier that there might be an issue with Revenue and the price drop and that this is causing delays. Who knows with Tesla?
Most of us with M3 RWD orders have EDD 12-27 June (or 13-28), with hidden VINs. Hope they are on the Grand Champion (already in Zeebrugge) or the Tokyo Car to Zeebrugge, could also be on the Grande Mirafiori which is due in Southampton on 20th May. Patience is a virtue😄

Looking for a steer - I ordered a MY RWD in November and upgraded to MY LR Black / Black (grant qualifying) on 14th Jan. Had the usual d!cking around with dates changing from Feb / Mar to July / Aug etc.. I still have no visible or hidden VIN and current EDD is 19May - 3rd June.
I didn't want to be a person with multiple orders with the intention of cancelling all but one (we all have differing opinions on this) but I see some people with the exact same order placed in March have either received their cars or have VINs and confirmed collection slots.
There are 2 of the car I ordered showing in inventory - do I just bite the bullet and order one of those - am I likely to get a VIN and firm delivery date immediately?
Wondering if anyone here ordered one of the inventory cars in the past few days and got collection day / VIN?
It is worth a shot; like you I did not want to have several orders on the go, but due to lack of info on M3 RWD I decided to try it out when my exact spec came up in inventory yesterday. I got an EDD of 13th to 28th June (vs 12-27 June on my original order), with a hidden VIN, so I cancelled the inventory order today.So I reckon not worth ordering from inventory for M3 RWD, but it may be for LR or model Ys, as others seem to have got lucky with those.
Ordered a black/black MY LR from inventory and was given same EDD as yours with no VIN. Think it's luck of the draw to get an inventory one with better dates.
Any issue with the cancellation / refund of the deposit? I assume it was straightforward as per previous posts here?
Spoke to Eddy on webchat (which is on the inventory page). Said I wanted to cancel order no RN... and please refund my €250 as per Irish online selling rules. He cancelled it straight away and said I would be refunded. Nothing yet back in bank account, but would not really expect it as that was this morning.
Similar-ish situation for me. Have White/Black MYLR ordered since Feb. No VIN and 12-27 June EDD. Ordered an exact match from inventory a few days ago and got a VIN immediately and an EDD 19 May - 3 June.
Still have both orders at the moment. If I get a delivery date for the inventory order, I'll cancel the original.
Well this is new since yesterday on the model Y main Tesla page.
Me thinks Tesla has a few too much inventory lying around unsold!

Go for it, you’ve nothing to lose as you’ll get your €250 back anyway. Don’t feel bad placing a duplicate order. Tesla have messed you around for 5 months.

Ordered a MYLR white/black from inventory 26/4 and got an EDD date end of June.
Ordered a MYLR black/black from inventory 28/4 and picked it up this morning.
Bite the bullet, you can always cancel and have the deposit refunded.

How clean was the car etc? Any issues?
Collection was straightforward, car was clean, no issues and its a lot of fun to drive.
The whole process from initial order to this collection was way too involved though- checking inventory, movable EDD's, hidden VIN's, tracking boats from China... probably worthwhile given the initial price drop, but not something I'd want to repeat and TBH looking forward to leaving that aspect of it behind now and just enjoying the car!
I ordered MY LR White (black int) on Jan 14th and the dates were changing 3 times too. Now I have the VIN assigned and I am awaiting for the final invoice to make the payment.
EDD is May 19 - June 03

Fully agree with all of the points you made above too. Everything so far has been a complete mess but like you mention above, anyone who has actually collected a car says the same thing (that it was all worth it 😀)
As someone in the same boat as you that had no less than 4 MYLR on order till yesterday I still have not got one:)
I ordered 2 recent "coming soon" ones, the white one I could have collected today, the black one has a later date than my orders from January.
The Tesla person I chatted to looked at the Black "Coming Soon" one and said, like my other 2 Black ones it's due to arrive in Ireland on May 31st.
I would not be all that confident in that info.
I think very few people that ordered MYLR Black/Black have got theirs yet.
I canceled my 2 orders for white ones, so the available now one should be actually available to someone.
In saying that they are both still showing in my account a day later so not that sure they are canceled.
Hopefully the madness will end soon. If it drags on till June there might be a chance of a cheaper one. Or possibly no car before grant reduces!
