From the Aussie's op ed criticism they seemed to focus lavishly on the freedom of the press etc. but didn't at all touch on allegations in the assange indictment that assange engaged in accessory to Manning by giving him technical expertise and software to hack and crack US systems and encryptions. Deepthroat didn't involve the Press in his means and methods, didn't require them to break into office buildings for him, they just showed up in a parking garage and got their information and reported on it. That, is not what is alleged in the Assange case.

Exactly. Russians know that the war is effectively lost. But the fight for Russia is only beginning. After the defeat, who gets blamed? Prigozhin lays a foundation for himself to come out "clean", meaning that he can say that the Wagner group fought the whole Ukrainian army and it's the traitors in the Russian elite that lost the war.
Personally, I suspect that the drone attack on Kremlin was staged by one of the Russian factions that want to humiliate Putin and to force him out, in order to place their candidate on the throne. A new president means new opportunities for the enrichment at the expense of the old elite.

I cannot understand why Prihozhen is so vocal and in such a PUBLIC way about , what I would call, highly sensitive information. If , what he is saying is true then it is handing the UKr some very useful information . I reckon that it is all in the false flag category - UKr thinking that if it holds on for another few days that it can easily retake the whole city and that the squabbling between Prihzihn and some of Putins ministers will lead to a coup and ‘cause massive disruption to the Moscovy gov and the economy in general
