Collecting next Thursday and Tesla called to move my appointment time as apparently there are only 3 people picking up all day long so they are moving the appointments to be for the same slot.
Really surprised to hear that as i thought they were super busy every day.
I've ordered the same spec about a week ago from inventory. I haven't been given a collection date but have been told that I can expect to be able to pick it up w/c 22nd May. Apparently they're due in on May 20th. For reference, the date range for delivery on the app is showing May 19th to June 3rd.
All built in as the car has an eSim.
Hey all - MY LR Black/Black June 12 - June 27 order here.
I contacted Tesla via the chat this morning and enquired about my reservation and the same spec model coming into inventory. They confirmed that the inventory model is expected in Ireland "late may" with my reservation confirmed for "late June". I asked could my reservation be changed to the car arriving in inventory in late may.
They are currently looking into it and will "email me back to confirm later today". Looks like they don't assign inventory to outstanding orders even when there is a match.
It might be an idea to get in touch if your reservation matches a "coming soon" from inventory.
Question on the premium connectivity - is the connection (i.e. 4G / 5g) built into the Tesla or do you need a tethered phone with a data connection ?

Same here I still cant tax the car even though I got my reg details last Friday.
I hope this is allowed here, please move if it's not but I have a set of wheel covers for sale on Adverts. Surplus to requirements as I got some on Aliexpress aswell. 19" matte black, foam cushioning and centre caps. Slight damage to the inside of one of them in shipping, but not affecting the cover. Never on a car,brand new. Better deal for boardsies obviously.

They have just sent me the SMS with the reg and appear in the account. You should check your or get on the webchat if you haven't receive
I have VIN, although hidden and date pushed from May-Jun to June. I'm reluctant to cancel and order from inventory at this late stage and not too fussed to wait a little longer I just find it a little strange/irritating!
Highly likely as cars in Inventory with "coming soon" status are a little more precise and when contributors on this forum have placed orders a Vin allocation has usually followed with immediate effect and one step closer.
In my case then it’s Tesla’s policy of putting cancelled orders into inventory and not allocating them to someone who’s already waiting that’s caused me to place two orders, thereby perpetuating the vicious circle of life.
I’m not exactly happy about having two orders on the go, but if the exact car i’m looking for is just sitting there and available potentially 6 weeks sooner (or more? Who knows) than my original order, and makes it more likely that I’ll get the full grant (but while also maybe missing a further price cut? Who knows) it doesn’t really make sense to not go for it.
Why not allocate inventory to existing orders then? I have order due June 12-27 but my car sitting in inventory. If I cancel my order then order from inventory would I get the car sooner?
Most likely cancelled orders. You can see from this forum that may people have multiple orders on the go (some up to 4) with only one car finding its home.. You yourself have 2 and its most likely these orders when they are cancelled go straight to Inventory. The policy of only having to put a deposit of 250 (which is refundable) gives rise to these behaviours which cant be easy for Tesla to manage.
Ordered black/black MYLR 30th March, currently have hidden VIN & listed (87xxxx) as a June 12-27th delivery
ordered identical spec black/black MYLR from “coming soon” inventory last night & straight away had a VIN allocated (not hidden - 89xxxx) & delivery window of 19th May - June 3rd
are these inventory ones cancelled orders, or rejected at collection turkeys, or something else entirely?

Same here, collecting tomorrow and still no reg, have asked the web chat who said I should get the yesterday. That came and went 😕 They sure don't make it easy for the customers.
Yeah was probably me, I was collecting the white nearest the hut. Agree with what you say, was a good day with the car. Have you been able to tax yours yet - revenue still not recognizing my reg (even though allocated last weekend).
It has been mentioned before but for anyone picking theirs up definitely worth stopping at a supercharger on your way home what with the reduced battery on delivery. You do tend to spend the first day hammering the acceleration (in a good way) which does reduce your level a lot greater especially with motorway driving.

2023.6.9 has changes to enable park assist (Tesla Vision).
AFAIK every car has Tesla Vision now.
Only that... Well... It's currently not very good so you'd be forgiven for thinking that there's no way to know if you're going to hit something from the front!
Quick question, did anyone get Tesla vision on their newly delivered cars ? I didn't and there is no way to know when the car is going to hit something in the front, other than that, its fantastic
