Here we go draw below begins this Saturday through to bank holiday Monday
only 8 or 9 to one when i checked about 2 minutes ago
would've been tempted to have €3 on at 40s
I thought that would wobble in the jaws and drop for Selby. But no, it didn't deserve to either as it was wide. But Luca hasn't made the most of his subsequent chance either.
When you really need the pocket to be generous.
Trickle in behind green?
Bit of life left in Selby if he can win this frame .
Fook me. Slow down
@gormdubhgorm
me equivalent re "Snooker's Coldplay" - and it's going on personality/demeanour as much, or more even, than actual playing style: not given it a lotta thought, but Kyren Wilson would have to be in top three anyhow 😃
that little shuffle he does when getting himself set, as well as the nowadays obligatory (seems like it anyhow - lotta players at it) cue rubbing; plus his almost defeatist sounding voice, makes him a reasonable shout to get the call - "Coldplay Comparatively" wise 😛
Selby’s 40-1 now
Missing that black could be fatal for Selby
Bad miss by Selby
And now Ken has demonstrated it on the practice table after the frame was over. I think Luca should have gone for it instead.
Whatever you do, don't hit the blue
Dennis Taylor got his Vicky mention in anyway!!!
It would have been easier for Luca to try and go up and down off the bottom cushion with the cue ball to try and knock the pink in that was sitting over the pocket than taking on that blue.
That blue reminds me of the SI blue. In the semi.
As Dave Hendon remembers too.
Normally you'd say rerack. But don't think Selby wants it.
What nerves there's my answer....
Luca was trying to nip a bit of pocket with that red so he could hold for the black. Can happen
Stop it Luca
What a shot, still fearless stuff from Brecel.
World final as an exhibition match
True, there's been a bit of a dearth of new names popping up that really engage. But I'm very excited to watch a lot more of Brecel, and Si as well. Been brilliant to watch.
My goodness
First sign of Brecel nerves missing that red? Bound to have a few wobbles surely?
What a start to the session by Brecel, bloody hell.
That red he missed was handy in comparison to the black he just potted.
Ken Doherty's mother didn't watch his Final back in 1997 - so I suppose @Girly Gal is in good company.
But to it does show what a Brecel win would do for the sport of snooker - way more casual snooker watchers will be drawn in.
This lad is fearless. The shots he is taking on are such a breath of fresh air.
Yeah I don't like Coldplay at all as bland as a one trick pony as you could get.
There is a question what is the snooker equivalent of Coldplay? Most of their songs sound the same.
And he's off again.
Bloody hell!
