I ordered an inventory one last week and bizarrely still don't have a Vin. Estimated date end of May to 14th June.
Are they honouring fire sale discount for you?

I ordered a MY RWD black/ black with tow hitch yesterday from inventory with coming soon on it.
Immediately I got a VIN and a delivery window of May 7-22. Another family member ordered a blue Y RWD yesterday too, again from inventory and again got an immediate vin and the same delivery window.
I’m due to collect on Wednesday and have fully paid and have proof of registration, this morning I get a not that says my trade in offer expired and to upload the info again.
Has anyone any experience with this happening surely Tesla will honour the offer made give?
Trade in are valid for 30 days.
thanks for the reply- not great if they have no flexibility given my will be 32 days old by my collection date and I will have fully paid for the car.
Any new owners of MY RWD comment on the range they are currently getting…am sure will take a while but I am about 350kms in and it’s not all that great. On a trip at moment to limerick from Dublin so will see what it’s like going back up to dub later. I am spending alot of a time at chargers
This has so many variables, number and durations of trips, temperature, driving style, speed, incline. With a decent long trip thrown in I am getting about 350km but as I say that is linked to driving style. Try to use the Energy Monitor app in your car and you can see how your driving style is influencing range e.g a big difference driving at 120kms compared to 100Km.. Try also not to obsess about such matters as it can easily happen.
For any new drivers who look at predicted range on the main screen and believe thats what they should be achieving is likely to give rise to false expectations as it is not linked in any way to your own personal driving style.

Collected this morning from a pretty relaxed Baldonnell. It had 38% charge, so that free 150km (when it arrives) might get it to 50% maybe? Anyway, rest of the bank holiday to play with it 😁
Got my proof of registration and the reg plates. Collecting on Thursday. That registration document has most of the fields empty. Apologies for a stupid question but do I need to do anything there? Will organise the insurance tomorrow I hope, pay the road tax but is there anything else - like print that form and sign anything?

Had the same issue in the trade in expiring. Had to wait a week for a new offer and they dropped the trade in value by €3,800. Ended up selling the car to Vector motors and got a much, much better deal.
It’s a strange system to have offers expire a couple of days from pick up…. I was offered the exact same amount but had been in contact to say I would cancelled if I was asked for an additional payment at this stage.

Trades can’t be valid for ever I suppose. The prices can go up or down depending on the market. Just unlucky that it’s expiring so close to collection.
Folks: a question: Allocated a VIN with last six digits 891xxx EDD - May 19-June 3rd
Tesla-Info gives example of VIN with last six digits 771xxx Manufactured on 13thFeb And 758xxx manu on 8th Feb
This gives build rate of 2,000 per day which gives me a build date of 12April which means its cant be on GRAND CHAMPION (I checked and its not)
Question: Do we know of another later ship that I can check?

I can't help with your question, but fyi I'm a black/black Y LR, have the same EDD and vin is 892...
I don’t think those build dates are very exact. I’m open to correction but normally VINs have been assigned as ships began their passage through the Suez Canal. I also have an 891 VIN and it arrived almost exactly as Grand Champion hit the Suez Canal.
The dates also align much better for Grand Champion. It’s due to arrive into Zeebrugge on 5th May and you could give or take another two weeks for RORO to land into Dublin. Another couple weeks to arrange registration etc would leave it at end of May/ June.
Complete guesswork but I’d imagine Grand Miarfiori would head to Zeebrugge after Southampton so might be very tight for end of June. This is all obviously assuming Tesla EDD are at least a little accurate which they generally aren’t 😂 But given some have May-June EDD and some have mid to late June you’d think there might be cars on both ships.
Dates are suggestive of Grand Champion ....due in Zeebrugge May 5th.. I see that you mention you that you checked but as far as I am aware you cant check to see what VINS that vessel is carrying.. It only works for certain shipping lines (HOEGH etc)
Think there’s a lot of action with deliveries at the moment so people don’t know if they are coming are going. Being 2nd owner wouldn’t appeal to some people either.
could buy it and let it sit till after grant goes but I wasn’t buying it to sell it in the first place. Anyway nothing lost. I’ll cancel on Wednesday
Is there anybody on here with a Model Y performance ordered from the existing inventory that is being delayed for collection? Due to the revenue/price reduction glitch that’s on the system. Was meant to collect last Tuesday but was deferred to last Friday. Now I’m being told that the collection is now deferred to May 31st 😫😫 sold my existing model 3P last month and now I’m without a car for possibly for over 1month. Can’t handle these no commitment emails from the IE delivery team!!!!
