Right, time to get up off my arse. Long dog walk, followed by lunch, hospital visit and then meet a friend for a couple of pints.

Also, I'm going to stop using my phone for Internet stuff at home. I'm in a bloody post Covid era total screen addiction funk. Laptop only at home and in a specific room.

I think everyone has fallen into the screen time trap.

I would read a book or two a week, now it's per year. Between that and having all your tv shows recorded (and easily recorded none of the flaffing about with vhs and asking people to record them for you etc) it's way too easy to park on the couch. I refuse to get Netflix or I'd never see outside!

I'm adjusting my screen time rules slightly 😁

2 hour dog walk, 2 hours on bus to hospital and then into town. Having a really nice pint of Guinness. It's going down very well.

Edit ....my screen time rules were at home ... So no adjusting when I'm out 😁

It's a beautiful April showers day in Dublin. So bright out. Sun and showers. Nice to be inside the pub looking out at the sun and rain. Undertones Teenage Kicks playing. And now Mandinka, the best Sinead song. 😁😁😁
