I get why they are doing it (it's easier for them) but it's kind of defeats the purpose of any waiting list to just sell them to anyone that wants one as opposed to whoever ordered first.
It’s a really poor way to handle orders, I’m certain there are multiple Irish customers that have orders for LR Model Y’s in that exact configuration since January. It’s not a very professional way to do business and it’s going to hurt them in the long run.
4 grant qualifying MY LR in inventory now (2 White & 2 Black)
Looks like there is a consignment coming at the end of May , I ordered a Black MY LR Grant Qualifying in Jan .Just got my delivery date today between 28 May & 6th of June.

Stretching it to even call it a hunch I think. When the early April price drop occurred, it happened in the US the week before and in Europe it was announced the following Thursday night.
Although some people think last week's MY price drop in the US was completely related to US Federal tax credits expiring some people have said that doesn't account for all of the MY drops last week and that some of the drop might also be related to excessive Inventory. Excessive MY Inventory is still a problem in Europe and Tesla only have 1 tool for dealing with that, price.

Just drive the model y this morning. Its a nice car and a good drive. Just need to do the sums and see if it makes financial sense.
Yeah I’d tend to agree there will be a drop at some point. Logically if there is one coming you’d think it would be with enough time to clear as much inventory as possible before end of the quarter.
Inventory of 2500 cars is tiny when you're selling 1,600,000 a year.
Industry average is 100 times more than that....
On that basis you’d have thought they wouldn’t be dropping prices as much as they are. Tesla still buck the motor industry trend for margins and have always said they intend to drop prices as supply ramps up.
True, but Tesla currently have 50 MYs in (coming soon) Inventory on their Irish site. Has it ever been that high before? If that's the new normal for their Inventory levels, where do they keep that level of stock on an ongoing basis? No room in Sandyford. Does NVD keep them? Pay €200,000 per year for a secure storage facility when you could shift them by knocking €2,000 each off the price?
Question regarding superchargers. There are 2 types at the tesla SC. Does it matter if it’s the CCS Combo or type 2 that you use?
Older S/X could only use the type 2, 3/Y both use the CCS. Every supercharger now has CCS, only the older ones have both. The S/X can both be upgraded to take CCS aswell.

They're coming soon, so they have a month to sell them. There was a large inventory in March as well but they were all sold before they arrived.

Were do you send the EV Customer transaction completion Form.I send it to sandyford telsa in Dublin and 3 week ago then get text message saying today they have not received the form.I have to 3 may to send it again is sandyford telsa were it supose to go thanks.

Slightly unrelated but is it worthwhile setting up a Eflow account in order to get a tag ?, thirty euro minimum deposit and I don’t use tolls all that often so the one euro per month sub might not be worth it even EV tolls are lower
