Take yizzer leave.
Yes, new pics of the preseenters. Moncrieff has got a huge beard. Not my thing.
Actually, looking again, it's a nice picture of him.
He looks like Erik Ten Hag in that picture.
Where?
Somebody would want to tell Newstalk and Ryanair to change their ads that come on after the news during the PK show - "Will Man U win the Europe League, check out Ryanair flights to Budapest"
Ongoing Dogsh1t Wars....
I see Coleman's latest is that he wants to get rid of open fires and stoves due to the thousands dying annually from the effects from particulates etc.
Tubs will be so jealous, why didn't he think of that trip?
he's a simpleton
He doesn't just want stoves/fires to be excluded from new homes, which they are anyway, he wants them taken out of homes that already have them. Kelly, in fairness to her for once, didn't agree and said that she would like to see the statistics of the deaths and how they were attributed to stoves and open fires and he didn't like it one bit.
"Is eating a fish the same as eating a cat"
We have gone full Alan Partridge.
I just saw this. Which made me laugh. My fathers brothers and sisters - 9/10 of them all reached 80 plus or are pushing 80. And a few 90s so far.
The stove in the kitchen was pride of place for them, growing up. And my father (the youngest) always says it was a special privilege to sit beside the stove. The spot they all wanted on cold days.
Kelly actually more or less said exactly that. Coleman was having none of it.
Peta deserve every bit of ridicule they get. These days their support base are extremist vegan headbangers rather than regular people.
Newstalk's new logo is "conversations that count"??
Yesterday across ALL shows, the topic was CRISP SANDWICHES!!. It was on Lunchtime Live, Moncrieff and The Hard Shoulder!
They are always doing this, presumably because it's cheap and is consistent with the ongoing dumbing down of the station.
Trivial guff that is extensively discussed on the breakfast show always comes up at lunchtime and almost inevitably on The Hard Shoulder. Before Christmas they went big on the main story of the day: The removal of Bounty Bars from the Celebrations box.
The Hard Shoulder is rubbish. Cuddihy is very lightweight indeed and some if the rubbish that he has on about blind taste tests etc are drivel.
Don't know who was reading the sports updates yesterday but at 5 we had "Chinas Jiahui Si is 5-3 up on Mark Selby while this evening Mark Allen is up against Mark Selby" , repeated after the 5.30 news and only corrected at 6.
Kennedy doing a much better job as stand in for Gilligan. Bits I heard it was much more listenable and polished.
Todays topic of the day is "should 16 year olds be allowed to drive", on every programme.
Sports obsessed, as if there's no sort of activity teens can do outside of sport.
They can't imagine that some people may just not be into it.
I'd be all for 16 y/o having adult rights, provided if they get in trouble with the law they be tried as an adult.
What's sauce for the goose etc.
The owners of Hyundai Tuckshops have been getting a hammering all day today.
I'm not sure if that's a typo but I like it
I wish someone would tell that sports reporter that the rugby player's name is not Josh van der Flyer
Tom Dunne is a national treasure. That is all
I love his voice. Seems like a really nice person.
Why is Shane Coleman the way he is? Today he tried to pretend he had never heard of the game Pong. Why does he do this?
He's an absolute buffoon.
I’ve never heard of it either.
