You already know what it is, you pointed it out in your own post. The call being made from the pub while the guys where there. Sure, it could have been someone else in the pub so you wouldn't get a conviction with that on its own but if they have other evidence then this combined with it makes for a stronger case. It is not like this is a smoking gun that would have them screwed but it is just stupid and wreckless to do it from the pub.

Absolutely, and a character like that wouldn’t last amongst people making significant deals. Alongside the smarter and more calculated criminals he’d disrupt far too much. Entertaining in the series but in real life wouldn’t be in any position of authority.
Interesting to note the far greater amount of traffic on this thread, this year over last year, and more traffic each week it seems.
Religion and the church is a recurring theme..if you remember season 1 ended in that church with Amanda telling her mother she was a Kinsella now..I presume its some nod to the Godfather films where Catholicism is featured throughout.

Do you understand that kin is a badly written fictional TV show? What's your point in asking how a fictional tv show, doing dumb and unrealistic things, could be prosecuted in the real world?
It’s is far from badly written. Hence its success when up against multiple similar shows.
You’re the one who said that Bren’s phone call was foolish yet are singularly unable to demonstrate how. As before, it’s best to focus on who’s going to deal with Bren rather than wait for some imaginary Garda intervention.

There seems to be an assumption that she is going to tell the gardai about the phone call.
The point of the call was to scare her into silence, her life has just been completely upended with Kems death and she's in an unfamiliar place (safe house) facing an uncertain future.
I doubt she will report the call and the gardai are hardly tapping her phone.

Bren might just be Eric/Viking. There's the faintest little trail there of Viking just not being able for what he's gotten into. He's so subtly reacting to what Bren is telling him to do and what is happening to him and Nikita. Yeah, it feels like the type of twist Kin might try to pull.
I mean like.. there's a lot of candidates but that's my guess after this episode. Seems to be what the whole season is revolving around.

Agreed. The point of the phone call was to scare her so badly that she's going to refuse to say anything from now on and retract anything she's already said. I reckon Frank might sort out Bren in the end. I initially thought it'd be Mikey protecting Anna but that's being signposted too heavily. Frank must be due to do something in the series at some point other than getting high and going to mass.
Anthony might have a go at the two sweet-eating hit kids?
Yeah could be. There's a board game .. I think but I don't think I played it.. where the players have to guess a killer. This season feels like it's just about that. Anthony could be a contender. Might row in behind his Mam when things gets heated between herself and Bren. Amanda is definitely pushing ahead despite him and that feels like it'll lead to a showdown.
I do think it will be one of the grand kids who does away with Bren ultimately
Anthony is definitely going to kill somebody. He's acting all hard, something's coming. I reckon he'll shoot the pharmacist or anna.

RTE’s advert for is more less a spoiler for the next episode. Not sure why they need to include clips unseen in an add. If you’re already up to date in it you’re likely watching it all. If you haven’t seen it at all a montage for s1 is sufficient
That's gas I assumed it was a set! Again, no idea if good or bad publicity for the pub! Might be considered a rough spot or it might attract touristy types. I hope the pub itself got a few quid for a paint job (although that would make it less authentic!).
I think there's a series 3, so I reckon this one will end on a cliffhanger in a shot in the head for Bren and whodunnit for us until S3. A good few have a motive. As an outside guess, Anna's mother would have motive, throwing her into the pot of suspects.
