Would you not keep your order for the Black until you get a delivery slot for the Inventory car ? “coming soon” could end up being on the same boat as the cars you currently have on order. Equally it could be next week but you can’t be sure unless you got a date to collect it.
I talked with someone from Tesla and they did say that they do not want to refund deposit for cancellation. I mentioned distance selling regulations require them to refund as I'm private customer - he responded that he will raise it but cannot guarantee. I'm suprised their employees are not aware of that, are cancellations that rare?

Was this an amended order in Feb? I have same car ordered since January 15th and not a word since - no hidden VIN, no Tesla vision message etc.
I am so close to walking away at this point- go buy and old Merc. and wait 12 months for Elon to drop the prices in half!!
They can. You can’t set permissions as in locking it to specific car. The only permissions is
I didn't amend the order. The only thing I can think of is that I got my financing in place fast and completed all the necessary steps.

I accepted the Tesla Vision bit and it gives an ETD of:
Estimated Delivery: May 03 - May 18
So maybe it will turn out to be the same as the other ones.
One thing I'd seen mentioned for the SR ones but not the LR was the total price. On this site it says
Car Price €54,870.00 which is what I assumed I'd be paying.

I have all that completed since January too. Will try call them as am without a car 2 months now so patience is done.
Yea, sure is. I amended an order for a M3 LR to a P when the prices dropped. Initially the order agreement was for full price but after 3 separate requests through chat, they sent me the updated Order Agreement with grant applied today after I accepted the Tesla Vision in the account.
Still no visible vin and not in a position to search for a hidden vin at the moment without my laptop...
I originally preferred the black to the white, but then I saw them in person out in Sandyford and changed to the white.
I think the website is a bit flattering to the black tbh but to each their own 😀

I agree, I think Tesla doesn't do the white justice with photos.
When seeing them in real life, I always think the white looks the nicest!

Check your account. I'm collecting my car Friday, paid fully yesterday morning and got reg details yesterday evening. The txt message only came through at 4pm today

I had another order for a model Y LR from 20th Feb that I finally got a VIN assigned to.
Have decided to go for that instead.
For some reason black never looks well at Sandyford, probably because cars never seem to be washed there.☺️ The black imo looks great when clean and shiny, but it has to be kept that way. The white sparkles even when a little dirty.
Could those who collected their cars yesterday/today (VIN range 72xxxxx to 73xxxxx) please advise if they saw excessive mileage or wear&tear than a new car should be? Thanks.
This is most likely the price before the SEAI Grant. If it was a White Mod Y with no mods (paint, wheels or internal trim) the price should be 53,940
Keep an eye out for proof of registration appearing in your app below order agreement. It's found in there when you go looking. You should get that shortly👍️

Mine has the load balancer. They do an assessment before you install.
I have access to locking it to approved Teslas only as well. There are three options when you access the Wallcharger menu.
Anyone any up date on the collection text that was then followed by another saying first text was an error? I still have the date I selected in app but I’ve been on to Tesla and none the wiser. They say it might still be the collection date or it might not………🤦♂️
It's farcical isn't it. Two orders I cancelled today had the ghost delivery slots too for next Friday collection. They only said to wait for an update.
Very difficult to plan for anything when they won't remove the so called slots that were made available in error.
Sorry I’m mixing up the newer Gen 3 with the older one that just had the dip switches.
The Gen 3 has an app now I believe.
Got my estimated delivery date today of 19th May - 3rd June but no VIN, hidden or otherwise, is this normal? I feel my delivery might revert back to the generic April-June tomorrow
