Finally got my Reg! No text just the Reg document showed up in my account :D
Tesla charger is a good charger but it is a simple charger, ie no load balancing or solar integration. Fine if that is all you need.
Another advantage is the plug has a button to open the charging door on car.
The ship is due to dock in Zeebrugge on 4th May so I think by end of June is more than achievable. Even so, Tesla will have four months to complete the SEAI process once they’ve applied before end of June to get the full grant amount.

Lads anyone got an update yet, my app still showing the same collection date %th of May) , no point talking on chat or to the UK. If I knew it was right would start paying the money off and get a reg etc. any ideas ?

Yep, this is a limbo, then potentially a big rush next week, especially with Monday as a Bank Holiday.
They do deliveries on Bank Holidays. Just not on Sundays. (Not sure about Saturday)

I have a Tesla charger, and I am very happy with it. No solar panels or power showers, so no need for load balaning. It is connected to a 32Amp fuse on its own, so I get about 7.5KWH without issues per hour.
You can connect to the charger and set permissions on who can connect with it (all cars, Tesla cars, and approved cars). I am sure other charger have the same settings, but can only speak from my experience her. And an added bonus is that it looks good.
I believe the charger Tesla sell is €500 installed? That makes it one of the best value chargers out there as well
500 delivered, no installation in that price but imo still a very good price for it
get onto webchat and tell them people are getting them same day or even same min after asking...i got mine on monday afternoon just as i cleared balance...i insisted they give it and 1 min later the text came through just push
Installation not included. I paid €650 through carplug.ie, and then received the €600 grant back, so net cost was €550.
Ah, wasn't aware you could set permissions on it. I was worried if I went away for a few weeks, some people could come and charge with my charger 😂

What error did you get? It told me I had a card error but when I went back it was gone. Not sure if I really had a card error or that’s just their way of declining it.
Although I suspect your post was in jest, if it was a serious concern, you could just flip the Charger RCBO in the Consumer Unit (assuming it's in the house) before you left.

Half. None of my neighbors have an EV and I don’t think people off the street would drive in and use mine.
But I’ve lost some faith in humanity over the years so an extra protection is welcome.

Yep all perfect. Also if you're bringing a trade in .. log book etc. I've switched my insurance over already to start from 15 mins after collection. Have the new disc printed off and all :)

Anyone remember where was mentioned on this thread as cheap for wrapping in Dublin, had a quick look these and could not find it?
I would have prefered the black to white but just keen to get a car at this stage. Might console myself with getting white one wrapped in Nardo grey, think it looks nice:
we’ve had a wallbox pulsar plus for the last 4 years and can’t fault it, and have used it with solar for the the last year and works great. They are a neat little unit with a good app.
Would you happen to know if they also offer a wireless load balancer (I will need it as the parking and meter box are opposite end of the house)
Hasn't come up but it's Ecoplex that we went to. Also recommended on an earlier post and they've been quick so far.
