China is a malign actor in Europe. Chinese industry thinks nothing of ripping off western designs, brands, trademarks, technology etc.
Western security agencies have banned Huawei communications tech and now TikTok is gradually being banned off State and official devices all across Europe.
Nobody should buy Chinese cars, it is bad for the European economy, jobs investment and technological security.
Please buy European brands, or if not then choose a car brand from another market of the global west, like Korea or Japan.
BYD, GWM Ora, SIAC Maxus and MG all should be run out of town. Personally, I wouldn't even buy Volvo or Polestar as they are under the Chinese Geely corporation.
Between the trim levels there are 3 differences,. Monitor size, electric boot open/close,. 7kw. Charging from AC wall charger at home with basic trim, and 11kw AC changing on other trims,. Doesn't make a difference if you haven't Access to an 11kw charger, DC charging 88kw same on all trims.

Available for viewing in MSL Navan Road. Mid trim is €37k plus €2k for delivery and metallic. Top trim is about 1300 on top of that.
No test drives just yet as they are awaiting PDI but you can go in and have a look around. Test drives should be available very soon.

Metallic is standard in the base price, so they're talking bollox re it being part of their €2k Paddy rip off.

Tesla don't charge for delivery. The price is the price.
We'll see soon what the breakdown of additional extras MSL are charging. Hopefully can opt out of some like FK and the MGs. So it will only be delivery.

Compared to competition which lets be honest is overpriced anyway it's an ok deal, but it's a short range EV for 40k+
Kia Niro EV is roughly the same price when you factor in the decent 3.9% finance most will need and Niro PHEV cheaper again.
For the advertised €37,000 I might support the Chinese, but at this price i'd prefer give to Musk who's rattling cages when his pricing

Impossible to predict, and I am probably wrong, but I think the BYD will depreciate more than the Tesla , because for a prospective buyer, they will be put off by a brand , they are not familiar with , and the quirky interior not to everyone's taste
Atto looks a nice car and practical. But would I take one over a Model 3 at €40,332 all in? Personally no way, the Model 3 also has over 70km extra on WLTP.

I'm far from a fan of the regime in China but it's extraordinary difficult to avoid your spending money ending up there one way or another.

And in fairness to the salesman in BYD, he did say to me that he thinks it’s a car placed in between the MG and the M3.

A good dash looks stylish and has your vents, radio controls and heating controls in it as well as stalks for your secondary driving controls like wipers and lights.
You’ve just described a tesla dash, no? Although, personally, id rather the stalks connected to the steering column, are they on the dashboard on the car you drive?
OK maybe I did not describe it right. That is what I mean do and no a Tesla dash is the big screen in it with everything in that.
If Western car manufacturers made affordable EVs people wouldn't be forced to buy Chinese cars.
They're dragging their heels on EV development and just trying to sell us overpriced SUVs.
