How do I look for the hidden vin?? Anybody know the trick to it?
As a matter of interest how high are the VIN numbers on the Grand Champion. I'm due to collect next week and the last six digits are 755xxx.
This is one way to search for a hidden VIN for anyone wondering...
Go to your order page, then open another browser page and paste in https://www.tesla.com/teslaaccount/oxp-bff-api/user-orders and hit return. If your VIN is assigned it'll show up in the text on that page.

Ordered MY LR black/black on Mar 22, got vision update message today followed by a delivery window for May 19 - June 3.
That's a fast turnaround!

Booked M3LR end of March, got a VIN this morning but timeline still APR-JUN unlike some of the people others who've got a narrower timeline, so wondering there are more people like that...
I got the same timelines, but i booked on 21st Feb.
EDD 19th May - 3rd June but no hidden VIN
Hello! MYLR White/Black ordered 10th Feb. Accepted Tesla Vision this morning and new EDD of 19th May to 3rd June, but no hidden (or visible) VIN yet. Still, it's progress!
Although I've had that hope a number of times since Feb with EDD updates, so who knows 🤷😄
My Tesla account says "we are drafting up your final contract" and there is no details on how to pay what I owe.
Now that I have a narrow delivery date, for the more experienced, when does the final contract / bank details for payment appear?
How quickly do you get the reg number? I paid balance on Monday and haven't received anything yet, my wife is driving me bonkers about arranging insurance, collecting Monday 1st May.
Usually becomes available a few days before confirmed delivery date. You only made final payment on Monday and Tesla are most likely working through large volumes at the moment..prioritising in line with scheduled delivery dates which are now getting into full swing Try to be patient
Once applied for before end of June you’ll get the full €5k.
I didn't get mine until around 1pm on a Friday and I was picking up on Sat at noon.

Same, got a hidden VIN and a 19 may - 3 June EDD.
Saw a new blue one on the street (my favourite colour). I wish Tesla were smart enough to lower the cost by €231 so I could have gotten the grant but sure maybe next time 😀
Any recent M3P orders with the reduced pricing get a hidden VIN/updated EDD this morning? Nothing for me yet...
The delivery window you have is only a rough estimate. There are supposed to be over 1000 cars coming in this delivery, possibly 1500. That's a huge logistical event. They will work through the first batch of UK re-routed cars first and then start on the ones on the Grand Champion. I would say that anyone getting a revised date of May-June should plan for mid-late June. They will be aiming for all deliveries to be completed by the end of June as this is the end of the quarter.
Regarding payments, you will get a notification in you account to start making payments. Try a test €1 first if you are not comfortable with sending more, then make payments in installments as most banks have a 10K daily limit online. Your reg number won't be available until about 2 days before delivery. You will see proof of registration document in your account followed by a text with the number. Insurance can be left until the reg no. is received and road tax cannot be done until the reg is on the system, usually the day after receiving the number.
My delivery window was originally Feb 21st-March 9th, collected car on March 21st, so patience indeed is what is required. It'll be worth it in the end.
I asked about this on chat this morning as I also paid my MY off on Monday. I was told the registration team are working through a wee mountain at the mo' but the texts should be going later if paid off on Monday. Current time lines are 48 hrs
Same for me on my M3 standard range. Finally seeing some progress!
€5K grant can be claimed for 4 months from end of June but Tesla are unlikely to facilitate this. Downside is you end up with a 231 registration days/weeks away from the 232 plate change. Not sure if this really has any impact on resale though. If I was buying a used 2016 car now , I wouldn’t pay extra for a 162 plate over a 161 plate.
Is that on a grant qualifying M3P?
Yes, but those collecting this week we given EDDs of "19 Apr - 5 May" and "25 Apr - 10 May" which is pretty spot on.

May I ask a question as a newcomer? I'm curious about the advantages and disadvantages of using Tesla's own charger compared to third-party ones like Zappi. While I've seen plenty of Zappi chargers around, I haven't come across a Tesla one yet. I'd appreciate any insights on this matter.
