Some deck chairs moving in the US media landscape. Good riddance. Also, Don Lemon out at CNN. If anything that's even more surprising.

If only Tucker had more guns... /end fox mode
When you can't tell the difference between satire and news, it is time to go, I certainly am leaving as I can't tell.
As above, I can't tell but just in case its serious:

I think Don Lemon should go and work for Fox and Carlson should go to CNN. Shur they both years of experience of towing their employers line so they should be able to adapt quite easily.
A brief look at some of Tucker's high-quality topics:

I think I speak for everyone in the Kingdom of Mide when I say I have no interest in your "Irish" politics. We need to keep Tara pure.
Hilariously and surprisingly he was only a small part of that, out of 20 examples in the suit he was only 1 of them.
More to do with the pending Grossberg suit and of course Tucker thinking he was the untouchable main man. Not the White Supremacy talking points he parroted nightly.
This absolute cretin is the main man.
Carlson replaced O'Reilly, It won't be long before they get some even more odious creature to replace him.
Carlson already used to work for CNN. In fact Carlson is now the first person ever to be fired from Fox, CNN and MSNBC, the big three cable news networks.
I don't suppose firing tucker was part of the settlement made with Domoinion?
probably not, but its a nice addendum.
Don Lemon, squeezed out? I'd say he's bitter.
*unfortunately I cannot take credit for that joke.
Why is his mouth always open? He’s like Kit Harington (Jon Snow) from game of thrones. You can’t unsee it.
Though people’s hatred of him is more unhinged than anything he actually said.
Why did you put pandemic in quotation marks?
Watching MAGA lose their minds and uninstalling Fox app wasn't a hot take I'd have for 2023
Hahaha...
Get up out of that garden. Here's an article of the worst things he's said to his 3million regular viewers.

Sadly, that's probably going to be the case Boggles. I'm sure there's plenty of equally shit filled cockroaches lining up to replace him already.
I'm honestly surprised they haven't just made some sort of animated racist chatbot, a KKK version of ChatGPT if you will. It'd be free and much easier to control.
They know comedy!
Dunno if it’s more surprising. With Carlson, after all the crazy stuff he’s said, you might ask “why now?”.
Lemon on the other hand had a more respectable image. Until he was exposed as a bit of a nasty arrogant misogynist
Dont he think he broke any laws, but seemed to be unpleasant to work with unless you were his boss.
Should the thread title not be something along the lines of "...is fired from Fox News." How we word things is kinda important.
Have you ever hard of Iraq?
So, Carlson's another Nazi apologist. Shocked, I am. Shocked.
He’s on the record as saying he’s on Russia’s side in the weeks before the large scale invasion when it was widely reported by his own country’s intelligence that an invasion was imminent. He’s calling for an end to it because his autocrat idol putin army has been shockingly poor on the battlefield.
Everyone is calling for an end to the war.
It means Russia remove themselves from their illegal occupation of a sovereign country.
That means an end to the war.
He’s hardly a genius for stating the obvious.
Simple.
He was as “against war” as the Nazi sympathizing *ucks who said “just give Hitler Poland”
Tuckers position was one of principle or anti-war? What a joke. His principle was riling up an audience who wants to be against everything Biden/Democrats are for. The ratings were killer. If Biden suddenly flip flopped and did everything Tucker suggested doing, he’d have been among the first to decry us giving up on Ukraine. We know from the defamation discovery that Carlson’s personal beliefs often contradicted his on air persona. In all likelihood Tucker actually personally acknowledges the reasons we’re supporting the Ukrainians but he’s fiddling to the same audience that lapped up all the Obama-Nazi Glenn Beck propaganda and all. ‘Biden should give up Crimea’ boom ratings go hog wild, that’ll own the libs, etc.
He wasn't calling for an end to the war, he was calling for an end to aid for Ukraine. So that Russia could win.
In the same way Lavrov is, which is stop struggling let us rape and execute you and steal your country.
So that Russia could win.
This is where it all falls apart. You've no idea what his actual motivation is/was yet you're happy to make claims proudly without any doubt at all. If anything, it's far more rational to assume that he's motivated by history, knowing what his nation leaves behind them when they get involved in wars. It's a far greater madness to ignore the history of America, and pretend that things will be different this time, when we know that history says otherwise. It's beyond childish to assume that any position that doesn't involve giving Ukraine money and weapons and full support, is pro Russian. But I suppose it's convenient for ideologue to label all dissenting views as Kremlin views, regardless of the true motivations.
Do you remember the time Microsoft had a chatbot that was set loose on a diet of Twitter, learnt to be racist and had to be shut down after a day?
That's the issue with machine learning and AI that's supposed to act human; They learn some of our worst traits from the arseholes who spend a disproportionate amount of time posting online.
He has literally stated he is on Russia's side. Though I think that's just cause he's a contrarian arse rather than because he is a paid Kremlin stooge if that makes you feel any better.
He certainly doesn't care about the people of Ukraine, otherwise he could be directing his calls for an "end to the war" at Russia.
He has literally stated he is on Russia's side
Link?
I agree, he probably doesn't care about Ukrainians, and is likely more focused on his own nation which has it's own problems that need dealing with, and sending billions to a corrupt country like Ukraine isn't going to fix America's problems. I really don't care if a nation is self centred, it should be, as that's how you create a good country, by focusing on what's near to you and not what's far away. The war in Ukraine is only to the benefit of America's hegemony, something your average American doesn't really care about, and those are the people Tucker is speaking to, which leads me to believe that his motivation is likely more pro America than pro Russia.
Christopher Hitchen's died 12 year ago, before Carlson went full fruit loop, and was actually working for MSNBC and PBS when they had their interviews.
