I was an hour early for a 15.30 collection as I got a lift from someone earlier. When I arrived, they accommodated me without problems. Took a few minutes extra as they weren't fully setup for the afternoon slot just yet, but I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. The car was already prepared and parked outside the collection cabin there.
I read this in the Indo last month:
"The Department of Transport said all grant applications received and approved by the grant administrators – the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) – prior to July 1 would be paid at the higher current rate of €5,000.
Under normal circumstances, that is dependent on the car being delivered within four months, but the Department said there may be some flexibility.
“Should a situation arise where, despite the best efforts of customer and dealer to meet the timelines surrounding the grant changes, a vehicle has been inadvertently delayed for reasons outside the control of the customer or dealer, SEAI will review these on a case-by-case basis,” it said."
So, hopefully, the good people in Sandyford are processing our SEAI grant applications regardless of where the car is on its journey over here. We'll be grand.

Its usual that Tesla process SEAI in the days before delivery. so unless they change that approach i would not be hopeful that max grant would extend at full rate for Q3 deliveries.
I was talking to someone there too and she said they have no idea why the message was sent and if there even is an issue. The Irish team are looking into it but looks like they were not notified when the message was sent. Just wondering if anyone else changed their original order to something in the inventory and it was a glitch related to this?
No not me, I changed the colour etc. and got a vin by doing so early April but that was it, Fez on a call to me said it should be all good but then it seems Eddy on the chat said it wasn't. I simply don't want to pay for the car until I know I can go and collect it, also need to get rid of my own. Fez I think in the UK was able to see the text that was sent to me and was able to tell me that the collection date made sense based on where the vehicle is.
The problem is the agents or guys in the UK simply don't have the local up to date knowledge and are sometimes inferring based on some updates they see on a screen.
They do seem to check with the local team sometimes (or say that they are) and I believe in my case that's what Eddy was doing.
So I've no option but to hold off and wait for an updated date. Like you, I don't want to be in a position where I've paid money for a car that hasn't arrived or may not be arriving for weeks.
I paid my balance off today, and my account shows balance due is nil. How long does it normally take for the reg to show in your account?
What's the best way to get from Dublin Airport to Tesla baldonnell? I am thinking the big green bus from the Airport to the red cow and the a taxi from there to Tesla. Any other better routes?
2 or 3 days before collection.
You should ping an agent on chat and they can complete the registration process once there's nothing owing on your account and you get the reg immediately. Otherwise I think the reg process will automatically happen over the next 24 - 48 hours. Good luck with it!

No get red Luas at red cow towards Saggart. Get off at fortunestown. Then walk from there no more than 20 mins max
I got mine same day. Get onto web chat tell them u are zero balance and say lots of others on boards.ie are getting regs. I got mine within 1 to 2mins via text
I arrived 1hr early today for collection, car was sitting in the carpark so I had a good look around it before heading in to the Tesla hut to sign and pick up my keys. Everyone there was super friendly, helpful and chatty. They have an English guy over for the week and he said they were sending over someone else next week.
I done this today and was told it was with the IE registration team. Still waiting.. maybe I needed to get Matthew
You will get a txt from them to give you your reg and to tell you to tax the car. I had the registration document on my account and very soon after the txt arrived.

Won't lie, kind of regretting cancelling the MY RWD over the LR, seeing all the excitement here.
Has anyone heard of anyone getting any LRs in this current delivery window? If so, any idea when the car was ordered?

Tesla charter Grande Champion is waiting to enter the Suez Canal. Now with confirmed destination of Zebrugge on May 5th. This is the usual port for transfers to Ireland. Lots of black and white cars with WuWa confirming RHD on this shipment. Its arrival sort of tracks with Tesla Ireland’s talk of a second major shipment before July.
Hey folks - we have found this group a great source of information during the whole process with Tesla. We ordered a MY LR Black/Black in mid Feb and have just accepted the Tesla vision acknowledgement in our account. Delivery date now set for May 19 - June 03. Looks like the car is on the Grand Champion based on some of the posts above. Thanks for all the updates along the way and best of luck to those collecting in the coming days and weeks 👍🏻
My EDD changed today from Apr - Jun to 20 May - 5 Jun and found hidden vin. Looks like there are cars for Ireland on Grand Chempion.
Finally some progres since Jan order!
Same pal still no refund just not sure what to do now there is only so many mails you can send and no matter who you get it just a different answer every time.
Yes mine too, I had 2 orders one M3LR and another M3 RWD both got VIN assigned.
So yeah there's defo cars on the Grand champion. The Model 3 I asked to be cancelled yesterday now has a VIN and delivery window of May 19- June 03. My Model Y is all paid off and collecting on Friday so I'll ask again for the M3 to be cancelled
For info - Black/Black MY RWD, ordered 11-02-23, assigned delivery date range 20/05-04/06 this morning.
MY LR Black/Black. I was asked to accept Tesla vision this morning.
Delivery date of 19 May-June 3.

I just accepted Tesla Vision on the M3P order. Looks like it's also on Grand Champion...EDD changed from April-June to May 19 - June 03.
