He's a creepy fucker that bren. Michael the only one not afraid of him. Bren doesn't last the season I reckon.
its hinting at Bren abusing his own daughter. possibly the reason his wife left with her.
Well of course he's a nonce as well as a psycho and a narcissist.
Great character though and its turning into a great show.

As sickening and unpleasant as the Bren/incest/paedophilia storyline is, it's a change from the drug culture. Reminds me a bit of the series Red Rock back in the day, nothing is taboo.
Well those last 15 minutes were uncomfortable viewing
The actor playing the paedo is very good.
I didn't bother watching this series until tonight, it actually was a good episode. That pharmacist is bleedin gorge so she is... mammy.
It is so close to the bone though. I reckon the kid will kill Granddad before Daddy does?

Yes! I saw the box wasn't wasn't recording 5 minutes in so missed the start.
As for next week, it'll only let me record one episode, not series link.

They are quite common. Especially in poorly maintained firearms. I actually thought it was quite realistic, given the oul wan pulled the gun out of a ripped paper bag in a dog kennell.
Looks like Mike, Amanda and Birdie are going to organise a hit on Bren because of his paedo ways, looked like that at close of episode anyway.
It's well set up now with multiple characters having a reason to dispose of Bren. Michael, to protect Anna. Eric, to protect Nikita. Amanda, to protect Anthony (and the business) . Frank and Birdie, just because. Jimmy might be his only friend...
Frank killing Bren would be more of a "twist," though. These types of shows always like to make the most harmless characters do the unexpected.
Why is Bren doing this…….is it to get at Michael, but Michael will kill him. Seems like a death wish.

Oh I think he abused Birdie too she obviously recognised his modus operandi immediately
But why…….just cause he can’t help himself or to get at Michael
what else did the preview show, if it wouldn't be to much trouble?
