while we’re on the subject I have a Y RWD @FS price with a collection date in 2 weeks🤯. Not sure when or if the plug will be pulled. Car is surplus to requirements 🙈. Only base deposit paid so far.

There is no “plus” model.
The base model is €40,388 on the road.
It has heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, mats, granny cable and type 2 cable.
Did they just never get around to cancelling you? Or did you fight it somehow?
Do you have a collection time? It just the random number generator EDD?
Do you need at set up an account to use the Ionity chargers?

My order stayed active and I was invited to book the collection slot, so not quite sure what happened. Think it’s totally pointless trying to challenge Tesla on it. Customer service is appalling, imho.
Don’t over think it. Pay the balance, turn up and collect!
you don't need an account. you scan a QR code and then pay through a payment screen after scanning the QR code. (direct tap to pay doesn't work - this caught me out once).
EasyGo account also works with ionity (but you need a minimum balance of €17 if a pre-pay account)
EasyGO seem reasonable my priced in certain locations. Do you know if the access fee they state as being 27c is a one off or is that per kWh? Not very clear on the site..
I would say good chance they'd be snapped up as company cars. Grant only applies to private owners.
Had you received any correspondence regarding the cancellation prior to that? Some people seem to have received the cancellation email but the car didn't disappear from the account initially...

I'd agree, they've been available for a month at this point, if they were going to be snapped up, they would have been by now.
Just drove past NVD gates, a ton of teslas just parked up inside the gates…they are all waiting for us folks 🙏🙏
😂😂 Same here, our 5 yr old wanted to drive past on the way home from a party. All we could see was Model Ys parked up. Sorry for the potato quality but it was lashing …. Only 5 more days to go 😉
Any news on the new shipment coming for those Apr-Jun orders?
IIRC the previous "Jan - March" window didn't update until the very very end of march, say basically when the deliveries that month were done.
Probably be another 2 weeks or so before there's any update I'd say
Sorry, but you meant end of Jan or end of Feb when the VINs started to show for March collections?
Most businesses lease cars rather than buy them and the likes of Leaseplan don’t offer favourable rates for Teslas. Resale too unpredictable I suspect and I’m sure they’re used to volume discounts from the likes of Volkswagen.

Similar to the last post but mine is on PPF or Ceramic Coatings for the front, anyone done it or looking into it? i think there is some PPF on the market that has some ceramic coating but not sure how expensive that is.

Detailers here in Naas quoted me 550 for whole car to be ceramic coated. But ONLY if I get it into him on collection day because there's "less prep work". I have a mate who details cars, he said he'll do a quick 3 month coating for me. It'll be enough until I can get it done properly... too much of life going on at the mo'
