Anyone subscribe to this? The website is fairly poor but it seems like you can't watch many games, but does have the facility to watch old All Ireland Finals which i'd be interested in.

The analysts wouldnt fill yiu with confidence. Seamus Hickey is terrible to listen to...sane as Paddy Andrews
Bit like your spelling 😜
I think Andrews is good, also Tommy Walsh on the hurling.
I like the idea that they are all relatively recently retired players, so know a bit about modern football
Anyways, time will tell how the whole production turns out, it will be difficult for them to match Sky straight off
Just looking to buy this no, was there not supposed to be a discount for GAA Members? Don't see anything about it on the website
It's like the GAA are giving up on it before even starting it. You'd have thought there would've been a big push now ahead of the Championship, but there hasn't been.
Pretty alarming to be honest. The interest isn't there from people curious about it either..
Ya and there has been no marketing push at all, id completely forgotten about it tbh until a mate mentioned it earlier
One thing that GAAGO.IE could do is get their act together. Whoever's responsible for coding that service needs a new occupation. I've had a season pass since they began because radio is my only other option but it's been a really subpar site since day one. Add to that the absolutely terrible customer service and the radio looks better and better.

Zero of the football Group Stage games are on TV. Zero of the All Ireland prelim QFs and two of the All Ireland Quarters, all not on TV. Solely on this dodgy paid stream that a fair portion of the country can't access even if they want to. Thats literally every important football game bar 5 that won't be shown. Incredible stuff.
The furore won't happen until everyone gets excited for a Kerry v Derry opening group stage game and certain people realise they can't watch it, or any other group game
Between RTE and GAAGO, I think its disgraceful that the first game of the championship, ie, London v Sligo can't be viewed anywhere. Not even online.
I hope I'm wrong, but can't see the fixture on any listings.
The New York v Leitrim game is on GAAGO but Lon v Sli is nowhere to be seen.
Thats not true, some Group games will be shown
3rd and 4th of June Group stages games on RTE.
18th June, Group stages games on RTE.
And as it has been since 2014 two quarter finals are on RTE and two on a different platform.
It's all here
Dont let the truth get in the way of a good story 😅
Can't wait to see the outrage when Kerry vs Mayo (for example) is behind the GAA Go paywall, like we had for Sky.
If you log into your membership on foireann.ie there is a discount code that can be used on GAAGo
Yeah but at least “the Brits” don’t have it. Let’s see if Michael Duignan will be on RTE complaining about that his elderly father not having access to the games now that it’s the GAA’s own paywall
Situation is pure daft. My oul lad has Sky but doesn't have a bull's notion how to work GAA Go. Lots of folk like him will be left scrambling now, paying a tenner a pop to try and watch it on a laptop when he was able to turn on his Sky and watch it or record.
Theres 9 live senior championship games on this weekend between GAAgo exclusive and RTE/BBC, not sure if thats a record but I cant remember anything like it.
Thats 6 games on GAAgo and 3 with the traditional broadcasters, and also a first in recent history, parallel games on RTE/BBC plus RTE/GAAgo.
Last year had BBC showing full delayed games "as live" later in the evening but now they are proper live.
I have to agree on the streaming quality though. You can see that for interviews etc its crystal clear but once theres movement its not great.
EDIT: I now see that they have announced their commentators and whatnot.
Also mentioned: "GAAGO is also now available on Amazon Fire Stick, ROKU, and Apple TV, while the development and rollout of smart TV apps is in planning for later in the season."
Its not on the Samsung tv yet BUT the built in browser can deal with the GAAGO website so is a handy enough workaround. Forwarding and rewinding works well, which cant be said for casting from an iPhone which was what we used to have to do.
I'd seriously doubt it as its a possible job for him down the line.
Getting transaction declined all morning for the Galway and Clare games!
Thats an issue with your bank though is it not?
No
Got it sorted, app wouldn't work had to go onto the website. 3 for 2 offer on the games 8 quid a game.
When the games where on sky people were giving out, this is the result.
its €79 for a season pass, €2 a game
Thats nothing to do with it, sky pulled out
wtf is wrong with the clock/score feature? At one stage it was showing 70 mins and the score 0-00 to 0-00, then disappeared during injury time.
How much taxpayers money, whats it for and how much do you think they should receive? And what ahs that got to do with gaago anyway?
That would suggest 40 games?
Compared to similar services for other sports
€75 for the URCtv season pass, 151 games + the rest of this season
€120 for the LOItv season pass, 180 games (advertised as 400+ games but I'm not so sure, fairly sure there's 36 rounds and 10 teams so 5 games per round which would make 180 games)
Interestingly RTE are behind the GAA and URC services so our license fee money being used as well possibly (not sure about who runs the soccer one)
Pre-match coverage of Galway v Wexford is listed to start at 3.30... but it's 3.45 now and it still hasn't started...
