How are the Citizens Assembly subjects decided on for discussion and ultimately recommendations being made? .
(1) What about it making recommendations on Irelands energy security situation - it is very vague to it being non existing. There is a debate going on on it mainly at the Dail and in the media
(2) Or making recommendations on whether to join NATO
(3) make recommendations on the governments policy or lack of it on the health - medical- of the nation and how it might be better managed and should it be pro active rather being reactive towards it eg keep people out of hospital by promoting healthy activity, healthy living, discouraging bad habits , provide more mental services, etc.

From the video it looks like a meteor. A de-orbiting satellite doesn't come in fast like that, doesn't have enough energy to light up the whole sky.
Wouldn't be much left of a satellite once it gets through the atmosphere.
Anyway, NASA said "the" satellite hasn't crashed yet.
Balls on the lot of them. I could never imagine myself walking confidently out into fire like that, nevermind being the last fighting over a road that is guaranteed lost anyway. Brave lads like them at that late stage of a loss should be kept to hold the new line.

Only thing I've heard about in public was another talking shop will start about Irish neutrality & matters of defence policy etc. where a group of average citizens will convene to discuss (in this case) stuff they probably know almost nothing about (I would include myself in that if my number came up!).
We just had such a review in the past couple of years, and there have been some positive responses to it. Putin's war means that the review needs an urgent and radical revision.
not sure of the reporting mechanisms in Ireland, but in the UK and continental EU there has been major warnings about attack on infrastructure from APT28 and Killnet, with some major DDOS attacks over the last 24 hrs on national infrastructure
