Well with the way they are going thats going to be the only thing left in the town. Drove through it today a joke lanes closed off & no & signage saying they are,end up with cars and buses trying to merge all in one lane only for to try & dodge another roadworks fence then again another metre up the Road.God help any tourists that come to town. Even the locals would get lost @ this stage
The internet place on Thomas Street - now closed - was very handy. They did good business in phone repairs and accessories. Always busy. A Chinese couple ran it. It's a loss to the city centre. There's only one internet emporium that I can think of in Limerick City - Copy That (Paul Flynn) on Upper Henry Street.
I don't normally be around for St Patrick's Day in Limerick.. but this year I am.. wohoo 😆 Wondering what to do. Anyone any ideas

Anyone seen the Curragower's new terrace? It's now a fully permanent glass structure (albeit with retractable roof/walls) but I think they've ruined it.
I understand why they are doing it in terms of loss of seating in the winter and it's a good business decision but I'm not a fan.
Looks too modern, it will probably be windows closed during "cold" times like now that I would love to be sitting outside for.
And the poor staff are gonna have to deal with loads of Karen's demanding they be closed for every little breeze because everyone thinks the pub is their private sitting room.
Seems like the International Rugby Experience is being used for everything these days except its intended use. Limerick Roses were there last weekend, UL are hosting an alumni event next month. Any word on any opening date or is just a very expensive event centre with cafe/gift shop?

Was in the cafe in the rugby museum few weeks ago it was ok if a bit expensive but what I thought was ridiculous due to exclusive rights issues is that in a shop in a rugby museum in Limerick you can't buy an Irish or Munster shirt
Is the cafe open to the public now ?
It's a pity about the gear alright. Best they can do is those "rugby style" Guinness jerseys and the likes.
In reality event centre will be what keeps the place open. A museum with production values that high won't pay for itself.
And it's nice to see it's not just the council that can't stick to a completion date 😝

Folks anyone know what they are doing on the dual carraigeway M18/n18 there between the coonagh & cratloe exits. Are they going widening the road a bit there or something.

Building has been knocked and site clearance going on. I remember seeing a planning application years ago for a petrol station but can't see anything recent on eplanning.

Arthur's Quay j think is the closest car park. Couldn't tell you what times it's open though.
You will be grand anywhere in the city centre.
The castle car park across the road is usually open for gigs.
