Yeah maybe try and "moderate" your own annoyance too (see I can do passive aggressive also). Beloved Hyundai?? I would say slightly above average at best nothing like the shockers Tesla are pulling as an ordering experience.
Yeah talk about the other oems (on those threads) it seems you'll just bring it up here. Don't see many people on other threads when a complaint is made about another OEM start going on about their Tesla expireances.
Maybe try the ignore button on my profile there has been a few that have used it now who don't want the negativity.

Naa, I’m here to give a different perspective that all is not rosey with all the other OEMS.
It’s an open forum so feel free to continue but I don’t mind correcting when somethings doesn’t seem right or the subjective that it’s only one brand that’s is doing something wrong.
Tesla are useless to deal with pre purchase. But they are one of the best to deal with post purchase in my experience.
No problem I drop out to the Tesla centre today and he had much more availability on collecting then I had on the link that was sent to me.
so if you are in a position to drop out do so 👍
I'm lost now, I've been saying all along about the pre purchase experience being shocking (which it seems you agree with). So what exactly are you writing, it's a thread about Tesla (maybe create a thread comparing OEMs if that what you want to do that).
The cars are fantastic which we both agree with.
The post purchase experience I've no experience with there so will take your word on that.
Just got a VIN on MY MSM for 27 April to 12 May delivery, happy days. Only ordered a week and half ago. Still nada on M3 MSM ordered 29th January though, generic April-June.

Any chance you lads could take it to PM or something. Nobody else really cares for it in a thread about waiting for delivery etc.
MY RWD MSM. Much quicker than I was expecting to get a VIN given my experience waiting for the M3 RWD MSM and delivery window moving around. Must be a cancellation.

How are people's insurance quotes looking? Supervalu are about 100 euro more than An Post.
Anyone any experience of the number of Days a transfer from BOI to Teslas Citi bank takes ?
Normally it should be showing the next day, however, I had an issue with this as when I transferred my last payment, it took two weeks before Tesla were able to "locate" my payment and allocate it to my order. It was very frustrating, and they only allocated it two days before delivery, but at least it did not delay delivery.
If you have paid and it is not showing, go to you BOI app and request a proof of payment, which will take a coupe of days to get. Then forward that to Tesla and ask them to locate it and allocate to you order.
Stupid question, out of interest what do people insure the car value as?
E.g. my configuration is MY RWD MSM which will cost 47,811 but that is with SEAI grant.
Do you insure to the value you pay or do you insure as 47,811 + the anticipated cost to replace when the grant is reduced at the end of June should an accident happen? (Not taking into account of any other potential price cut that is)
Replacement cost ?, for this year its your cost + 1500 when the grant reduces
Practically I doubt they would give more money than you paid, IMO

Well, if it is a write off say in 3 months time due to accident, the replacement cost is no longer 47,811 any more (again not accounting for potential Tesla price cut).. which is why I'm wondering how people are insuring their cars (for those that has collected)

i spoke to tesla CS UK on the phone. They now have a virtual queue where you can hold your place in the queue but they call you back rather than you holding.
anyways relating to the refunds. I was told mine is processing and has to be completed in Amsterdam office. It can take 14-28 days I was told. Just in case anyone really needs the funds for an upcoming delivery…
Jesus i hope that doesnt happen to me :( i just only sold my car last night and not getting payment till sunday morning and i have a pickup of Fri 28th. I spoke to Emma on Chat this morning and she said provided i have it sent on Monday i should be fine :) fingers crossed...i just sent a test 1000 there this morning so will see.
My refund hit my account today and got the text for collection booked on 25th. Hope you all get yours soon!
Is anyone with Edd of April 25-May 10 still waiting for the text to book collection? Got the text for my LR but nothing for the rwd i ordered from inventory. Onto chat today and they said I'd get the text sometime in May and couldn't confirm if my car was in the country as apparently they don't give out logistical info.
