I did indeed and bought a Tesla. But it wouldn’t stop me going back and buying an i4 if it was a good deal.
At the end of the day, the cars at home with me, not Joe or musky or any other CEO.
Yes exact same
In the same 'boat' with a M3 LR
Still waiting on the infamous text for MY RWD….. trying to be patient 🫠
I think he said Colin youngish lad mid late 20s reddish/blond hair nice lad as he said to me he’s only a sales rep. Did say Kelly was on two weeks holidays so now I know why no response to my emails. Sends out the killer email then flecks of for two weeks while the **** hits the fan.
can’t see them not giving you the car as there is plenty available in inventory now.
Thanks for the replies, my wife wont let me mention it anymore, so its good to get some back up here. Fingers crossed its just a slight delay.
Good to know she’s on leave, didn’t get an out of office email from her. Will need to forward my last one RE refund to someone else.. anyone got an email contact?
You could try David or Natalie...

Steph covered for Kelly when she took time off recently.
Thanks both!
I actually got a text from Steph this morning... I had been looking to see the availability of test drives, and then didn't book one. She was following up to see if I still wanted to book the test drive and put her email address and phone number at the end of the text.

NAA wouldn't be in that boat but in fairness did my master's thesis in the quality of customer service so maybe I have higher expectations.
I have same MY on order and was really keen to get Inductions but not at loss of grant - be expensive alloys then - so had plan to have standard alloys painted black later or buy inductions or nice covers etc etc. but the more I look at the Gemini wheel covers the more I like them and the knowledge that when I kerb them - cos I will (or her indoors will) - I not have destroyed a nice induction rim and can buy a replacement Gemini cover from Tesla for €35. I recently sold a VW with Diamond cut Suzuka alloys which were an extra and 3 of the 4 had been damaged in three years - looked awful and quoted €500 to refurb. I think my fancy alloys days are finally behind me. Wife never understood it anyway !!!!
Honestly, have a look at the Aliexpress covers. They cover the rims of the Gemini alloys and look much better. I've already scraped one of them on a kerb, but it's not too bad. I'd be going mad if it was the alloy...
Came with the logo's too.
If you look closely at the original wheel, you'll see that the covers don't protect the rim, they actually fit inside it.
Expectations is one thing you can control, service delivery from a third party is something you cannot control unfortunately but you can choose to walk away, which I have done in various brands over the years. But that didn’t stop me going back if a deal was to be done that suited me.
Take Hyundai for example, you had your car in with them doing some software update recall but they didn’t do the sat nav update, so you had to wait and do it at home.
Customer Service of a higher level would have been for them to check for available updates and carry them out for you while it was in their workshop.
But as you say, high expectations.
double post
same as myself
Yes Steph took on my case on the 6th 🙄
AHH here we go again they updated the brake Sw as part of the recall but didn't update the infotainment SW.... Small in the wider scheme of things. Not like they took an order took 22k off me and cancelled my order and in no hurry to refund.
People may call me a troll but your a bit of one yourself you jump on anything bad about a Tesla experience with the line other OEMs are worse.
Your a mod maybe put a rule positive stuff only on the Tesla threads.
Link? They look the part!
Agh so we are only allowed talk about bad Tesla customer care. I see now. We are not allowed talk about bad bmw or Hyundai or Audi customer care. It’s major when it’s Tesla but minor when it’s your brand of car.
I never once called you a troll, You are the one that brought it up so don’t get offended when I insult your beloved Hyundai.
You were biting at the bit when you asked the poster if he was still going ahead with a Tesla purchase and you seen red when he said yes. Try not let these things annoy you.
Don’t give if you can’t take.
General question, what happens if Tesla reduce their prices in the next few days? I will most likely have paid in full by Friday..
Don’t pay in full until the last minute. But, if they do reduce before collection, your order agreement will update and you’ll be in credit. They will owe you money back.
That happened me last year.
They wont register the car though until full payment is in?
Yes but I’m assuming the poster means paying full prior to collection. If it’s at the point of registration then it’s only 2/3 days away from collection.
Knife edge but once it’s not collected price will adjust. Big if though. These price cuts may never arrive.
I order these a few days ago on Amazon

Yes, collection is next Tuesday...
Only problem is that they are not symmetrical. I think that store does them though. Just send a message through the site to get the logo's for free too.
Balancing act on the timing. I don’t foresee any price drops but I’ve been wrong before!
Planning for the worst case if the fund didn't come through by next week, did anyone manage to reschedule the slot for collection?
