Yeah hire purchase through them, it effectively means I'm paying interest on money I don't need to borrow. It's not really a good thing
That is not chrome, but protective film applied to protect it during transport.
I think I got my wheel covers from there too.If you just add a message to the order that you want logo's aswell, they will send them with the order free.
Hi guys, can I ask about the M3 chrome trim surround around the side windows. I thought I understood that in the last couple of years this has now changed to a black/dark surround on current M3s (I've seen a few 231 M3s around Dublin and they all have the dark surround as does the Tesla website when you go to order) but the latest video from Wu Wa in Shanghai shows all the RHD M3s parked up and 90% of them seem to have the chrome surround except for the white models. Im just wondering is there logic as to what you'd get when your M3 is delivered? Thanks!

Probably, but any hubcap replacements you use likely won't be as aerodynamic as the originals on the geminis.
The non symmetrical ones would personally drive me mad. If they are designed aerodynamically surely there would be extra drag on the wrong side?
I'm not quite sure to be honest, they're the executive mats from carmats.co.uk. They just don't ship direct to Ireland anymore, I guess eBay makes it easier to work out duty through their storefront. I want to keep the original mats clean and fresh for whenever I sell the car.

I read about the symmetrical and non symmetrical hubcaps, not sure if I'd personally notice but decided to pick these ones up anyway to avoid the risk of annoyance down the line!

The interior carpet mats look similar to the standard ones the car comes with. Are they better quality?
Good to see the wheel trims are symmetrical, have seen a few on cars that one side is back to front..

Awesome!! I got the centre console organisers from Tesla, they're pricey compared to Aliexpress but they're flocked with thick velvet kinda stuff so they're nice. Those and the frunk carpet all arrived this morning. I've never seen so many 3rd party accessories for a car in my life

I'm having fun with the financing on this car. At this point they are going to be give me a car and €1609.
Something to do with how the grant, deposit and VRT all conspired together to result in Tesla giving me money back. I'm glad their car software is better than their math on the order system.
I've the below order from Aliexpress which look the same, bit cheaper but probably will take longer to come. I ordered 2 days ago along with some caps; the caps have been shipped but this says it ships in 8 days or I'll get refunded. It's EDD is Jun 10th.

Irish cars normally go to Zeebrugge and are transferred to another ro-ro vessel there. I believe that the boat is already on the way, but if you have a look at the Tesla motor club site, you'll get a lot more information.
Word is that the next ship will have double the amount of cars that the last one had, so this will be somewhere around 1500 cars. That's going to take a few weeks to get trucked up to Baldonnell, so I would imagine that it's well on it's way.
Any car registered January-June is 231
Any car registered July-December is 232
So if the estimated delivery date is accurate then a car that you get in June will be 231.
There are rumours of a ship leaving Shanghai for Southampton with RHD models in the coming days, add 4 weeks for the journey and you're talking the week of May 22-28 it lands in England and then 10 days to be registered suggests early June?
I'm speculating though, somebody who made a previous order might be able to confirm
They are awesome. I've added them to the Tesla wish list LOL. I got centre console trays (27euro) and carpet for the Frunk (only 15e) both from Tesla shop. Also Matte carbon fibre spoiler like on the performance, Hub cap kit for the alloys under the aero covers, jacking pucks, seat protector for the kids booster, kit to dechrome the T logos front and back, 2023 Plaid badge for the rear ...just cuz I really like it

Yeah I out the mat protectors under under the baby car seat. Got it on Amazon.
I use nothing under the booster seats.
I just spoke with Emma on live chat and asked the location of my red M3 LR. She said it has arrived and they will be in touch later this week to arrange delivery.
I also cancelled an order for a white Performance which I placed after the latest price cut. I didn't receive a VIN for that one so the LR makes more sense to me right now.
I've still no update on the price of the LR though.
Possibly very silly question, but if I order the Tesla Model 3 (entry level with no modifications), are the estimated delivery dates Apr - June 2023 accurate?
Also, will the car have a 231 or 232 reg if I place the order today?
