missed it
Have you an actual point,
Or this another quick post and leg it for a few weeks ,
Seems to be getting a regular occurance with certain posters try post a gotcha and run away, then come back and make wild claim like putin was supposed to die within 14 days on a certain day and time that no poster actually said ,
But claim it has been said .....
They aren't and they won't.
Russia can't beg its men to fight, Ukraine have 10 million men of fighting age and a few million women to boot who are queuing up to train and deploy.
There'll only be one winner. It may take a wee while, but Ukraine will eject every orc from its sovereign territory and restore its 2013 boundaries.
Correct.
you are asking too much of him. have you not seen his previous posts?! comes here, posts an utter garbage, always 100% pro orc, then runs away back to Solovyev tv for more brain damage. He'll be back soon with news that all orcs incl wagner are actually Ukrainian undercover agents, T90 tank is capable to shoot down satellite and Zelensky is the actual one to blame for all the holes on the Moon surface.

The missiles will be delivered to the Russians separately :D
One tank gets damaged ,
We all watched thousands of Russian tanks and vehicles be spectacularly on here
Do you need a ride?
If Western government are looking to bleed Russia slowly via the Ukraine war, then they must not be concerned that Ukraine will run out of troops to accomplish this slow bleed with.
Its just some Polish dude talking and showing slides, could be photoshopped or old pics, how reliable is he? Can you translate?
Yeah, the WP also have Vladimir Kara Murza 'speech from the dock' here as well

When I hear the leftie loonies warning about this supposed rise of the far right and how "we're looking in the wrong direction" I have to admit that I'm a lot more worried about the rise of the far left and they're love of show trials and rounding up people who don't 'get the message' and shipping them off to the gulags / hard labour prisons . . .
A lot of papers quote the last part of the speech where mentions "the day will come when the darkness over our country will dissipate. When black will be called black and white will be called white; when at the official level it will be recognized that two times two is still four; when a war will be called a war, and a usurper a usurper"
but for the me the part where me mentions that as a student of the Stalinist purges he never thought he would live to see a return of the "great terror" is what gets me:
"I’ve been surprised by the extent to which my trial, in its secrecy and its contempt for legal norms, has surpassed even the “trials” of Soviet dissidents in the 1960s and ’70s. And that’s not even to mention the harshness of the sentence requested by the prosecution or the talk of “enemies of the state.” In this respect, we’ve gone beyond the 1970s — all the way back to the 1930s. For me, as a historian, this is an occasion for reflection."
Aye I don't think it would make an immediate difference but over time, if Ukraine don't get what they need to hit high altitude targets, then it will start to have an impact.
Its up to the US, Germany etc, to make sure it doesn't become an issue at all. Sooner rather than later hopefully
first leopard 2 immobilised - in a Polish training ground.
Turret came off almost completely
It'll make life much tougher for Ukraine but the Russian Air Force's problems go way beyond just Ukrainian AA capability. Their training is poor, and critically have basically zero ability to conduct effective combined arms.
It would likely result in more destruction and more civilian deaths, but from a military point of view it won't give them immediate battlefield dominance in the way people think it would.
WC-135 was out on it's first mission today.
edit: up to Barents Sea.. must be an expected missile test or Nuke sub movement
edit 2: only on its way back along the Norwegian coast... over 13 hrs in the air so far
Yes that's a pessimistic but probably realistic reading of the situation. Of course America has some interest in supporting Ukraine for humanitarian reasons, but it's geopolitical aims will always take top priority, and a very long and costly war for Russia is good news for America.
Within Europe I'm not so sure, but militarily Europe is far behind the US.
A reminder that there are still some brave voices within Russia opposing this vile regime and paying a cruel price for it:
"I know that the day will come when the darkness engulfing our country will clear," he added in remarks posted online. "Our society will open its eyes and shudder when it realises what crimes were committed in its name."
Puts the majority of his silent compatriots to shame.
Nope, sorry
Here's what you stated
So again, where did I make that prediction
Its ok to admit you completely misunderstood and have been drawing an incorrect conclusion for several months. I won't hold it against you
I agree with this. Exactly one year ago the US secretary of defense Lloyd Austin said that the US goal was to weaken Russia to the extent that it could never launch an attack like this again. By slowly bleeding Russia to death, militarily and economically, the US has an unprecedented opportunity to kill off its old adversary for good, for relatively little cost and without spilling a drop of US blood. In my view, a quick and resounding defeat of Russia, with regime change, and an effort by that new regime to undo the wrongs of this war, would not necessarily fulfil US goals. A protracted conflict will be much more effective at running Russia into the ground. Unfortunately the cost of a long war for Ukraine will be enormous in every sense. If this war continues into next year I think both sides could be perceived as having lost, regardless of the ultimate outcome.
Nobody fighting will be warm in the battlefield, regardless of sides.
Russia is well able to fight a war in winter, it's Russia ffs, half the country is permafrost. They know how to deal with the cold

Happy to oblige...
No .
There pilots are **** and so is their training, and Russia is low on their own missles .
Neither side has air superiority, but one side is **** at fighting and spends more time retreating than attacking.
Nothing like a bit of propaganda to start the week
Interesting analysis showing the SAM situation could be about to become a major issue for Ukraine as they look to be coming close to using up the last of the soviet-era stockpiles. It goes through all the systems available, the stocks available and the specs/capabilities for each as well as potential western replacements
tldr: If the west doesn't start supplying more SAM systems, especially high-altitude ones, then Russia will have a lot more freedom in the air than they've had up to now
Without a doubt.
There is quite a lot of evidence for this: some in the Western governments would rather bleed Russia slowly and over a long period, stops the country causing trouble elsewhere.
Article in the guardian today (a pro Kremlin rag according to one of the "experts" on the thread!) saying the West is not delivering on its promises militarily and needs to do much more.
It appears there is a policy of grinding muscovy down by giving Ukraine "just enough", to degrade muscovy's military, economy and other aspects slowly. The primary benefit of which goes to muscovy's traditional adversaries. The cost borne by Ukrainian lives. It makes sense from a geopolitical standpoint and is equally shameful from a moral perspective. Such is the world.
Decade, or even decades old equipment is still good equipment.
Most NATO equipment from the 1990's is just as good at killing as the modern stuff. Also, most NATO equipment from that era is designed to kill the same equipment the Russians brought at the start of the war, and there are massive stockpiles that every NATO country (especially the US) would be happy to donate to Ukraine at virtually no cost.
I would love some clarification, but when the US promised $X billion in military aid, much of this is already a sunk cost in existing hardware in some storage facility, not extra cash the US is spending.
Since they won’t supply them with the weapons necessary to finish off Russia.
Sending decades old equipment, promising this and that but not following through.
Didn’t Macron say we shouldn’t humiliate Putin on the battlefield?
Since when are the west afraid of Ukraine beating Russia?
Surely that would be great for the west
I'd love for you to quote that prediction
