As I asked before, has any country who seized Russian assets and announced they will hand them over actually follow through and handed them over to Ukraine?
Not seen any previous examples of someone saying that they were preparing to hand over something and then don't,
Then again people on the interwebs
Has there actually been any sized assets given to Ukraine yet from any country? Usually when the quote starts with 'We are preparing to' it amounts to nothing or nothing immediate.
The Canadians don't mess around they are currently in the process to hand the Ukrainans an An124 heavy lift aircraft seized in from a Russian company, other confiscated assets will follow
Not true because the Russians don't have air superiority or enough we'll trained pilots to make any real difference, the biggest threat is artillery and missles
It happens unfortunately,
I posted one months ago too
Air superiority!!!!!!!
Air superiority!!!!!!
Is the West listening???
The counter offensive will fall flat on its face without it.
Yeah, those videos are old. But whats new is another drone attack on Belgorod power substation. Half of city without electricity
Sigh. Twitter...
Both Video's are 3 years old
Tightly parked vehicles like that? Doesn't exactly look like a war setting.
Just seems strange there's no western vehicles or any markings (yellow stripes or a cross) on the vehicles.
I'd always be cautious with tweets with zero replies.
@Asdfgh2020
I took it to be Ukrainian. Lots of vids recently of huge Ukrainian formations.
Here's a translation from another posting of the same video:
Ukraine 🇺🇦 prepares for counterattack.
There are millions! To be free in your own land or to sacrifice yourself for it by fighting the invader.
And
Is this a Russian ‘display of strength’ or Ukraine one….?
Looks like Bulgaria may ban grain and other food products from Ukraine after Poland and Hungary announced that they had banned products recently.
Another American service member former navy gets caught promoting Russian propaganda and selling merchandise to raise funds for the war effort.
That's just bile, I ignore that. The point I was making was that the soldiers were released - at least that is what they said. Are you refuting that? Here is an article on it Watch: Wagner Group releases 100 Ukrainian prisoners of war (telegraph.co.uk)
All this nazi talk goes over my head, I ignore it. I hope you do too.
Somebody means business
Except that this is a very tricky course to pursue and one where the USA and others could easily miscalculate and Russian forces could start to make progress the other way. At which point, the lag in responding with further help to Ukraine could be disastrous. Playing with fire, literally.
FFS ZV2 what kind of BS are you posting? The last day it was a pro-russian account re: turkey selling BT2 codes to russia, now this nonsense. Do you even use a translate function?
See the translated bit attached
Wagner liberating Bakhmut... Ex civilians forcibly recruited by nazi zelensky....
FFS...
???
America allowed the Iranian to attack a US base as compensation,
Which crackpot website did that idea come from,
USAs goal is to weaken Russia politically, economically and militarily. The best way to accomplish that is to supply Ukraine just enough equipment to keep the war going, not so much to drive Russia out or deliver a crushing defeat. They want to encourage Russia to keep trying - keep bringing tanks out of storage, keep plundering their stockpile of munitions etc.
That's why Ukraine gets equipment in dribs and drabs.
Looks to be related to the same story alright.
If Russia shot down one aircraft by accident or by rogue event I think NATO would respond by destroying some Russian equipment and then that would be the end of it. Remember the US allowed Iran to attack a US airbase as compensation for a previous US attack on Iranian personnel. Nations can be very practical when they want to be.
From here.
Don't rule it out the poles have Already said they won't allow Ukraine to fall to Russia, all it takes is one mistake like the Russians trying to shoot down a Nato aircraft over international waters , that would start a wider conflict with Nato, considering that recently Russia tried to shoot down a Nato aircraft before deciding to attack a US drone over international waters,
Something is going to happen and I don't think the Russians realize that they will face enormous consequences
The other social media post I was referencing was in english. Not sure how they got to that figure but they also mentioned that Italy had already replaced its 155mm mobile artillery force that was the model being sent to Ukraine with the more recently produced German PzH 2000 if I remember correctly. I think Ukraine are also getting some of these more recently produced systems direct from Germany
I’m not sure about that. I think if the Russians are not broken this year then support for Ukraine will decrease over time. If vast sums of money and weaponry cannot defeat a laughably incompetent, poorly equipped Russian army then so be it, I don’t think other countries will put boots on the ground to try and push the Russian army back a couple of hundred kilometres.
No matter how much or how little Ukrainian territory Putin takes, he will face an uphill battle to keep it. What the Russians endured in Afghanistan is nothing compared to what will happen to them in Ukraine. The Russian behaviour in Ukraine has been so monstrous that forgetting, never mind forgiving is many generations into the future, if ever. For sure, and "Russian Citizens" living on Ukrainian territory's will only be of short duration., and they will only be able to live in heavily guarded enclaves. Even now, many Russian citizens have left Crimea, fearing what is to come.
