I picked up similar ones from a lad who ended up cancelling his order around the time of the fire sale.

Have these on the way too in gun metal grey.
They look great, more sporty imo, not to mention more protection from rim rash!
This is the seller I bought from - delivery was 3 weeks

This is what I ordered in matte black, haven’t arrived yet though. Not sure who @bf ordered from
Yes that's what I'm asking. To me they LOOK like the inductions, but in a 19" cover size to replace the existing hub caps on the normal Gemini wheels.
They look great all the same
No. They are the 19” Gemini covers.
The inductions are 20”.
Are they essentially 19" "induction" covers if you get me?
Could you provide a link to the covers you bought, for the insomniacs amongst us!? 😂😭
They look really good, sets the blue and black off nicely. Well wear!
I've the same ones ordered for whenever my blue MY arrives. They look great!
Some Aliexpress wheel covers added today, I think they make a big difference from the Geminis
I know, just looking for feedback or stats from actual owners here.
10% less as documented by many.
Has anyone moved from a Model 3 RWD LFP to a Model Y RWD, if so how’s it going range wise/in general?
Fully agree, the cameras are great and if you are not comfortable parking then you actually should get out of the car and have a look exactly where you're trying to put it.
How many on here have actually walked around the car and truly studied how long/wide it actually is?
As someone who drives a large public service vehicle for work, I know how important it is that you understand the dimensions of your vehicle.
Can you lift a Y with a scissor jack and if so, has anyone gotten one yet?
I would never try to park a car using USS alone, not sure why you're suggesting anyone would do the same with Tesla Vision and hit a bollard. If you're not comfortable parking/manoeuvring a car using your eyes and ears with the help of reverse/side/forward cameras then the 2023 Model Y is not the car for you. I imagine 95+% of driving licence holders won't have an issue.
(I appreciate this is a circular conversation, and on a Y thread full of buyers!)
I hold two conflicting views - I think the Y is the best car for sale today, but I also think Vision only needs to miss a solid bollard or whatever just once, ever, and I’ve a few grand repair bill. this thread has 3 cases of dented rear bumpers on weeks old Y’s just in the last few pages alone, and even some folks talking seriously about retrofitting sensors to an expensive brand new car - can you imagine the depreciation on the latter! 🤪
If they had a few other locations around the country it would help. Sales must be very concentrated in certain areas.
The low sales numbers do not at all reflect the Tesla situation around the part of Dublin where I live, you can't move without seeing a Tesla around here. Lots of 231 Ys have joined all the 3s.
It should do but the last round didn’t really drop the prices of other EV’s. But what it did do, was send people in the fence to Tesla.
It will be a hard sell for the new Ioniq 6 53kWh. Base model at over €49K and only 151hp with 429km on WLTP.
Tesla resale must be all over the place now with the latest Model 3 reductions. Any used car dealer with a few Teslas in their yard are never going to want to see one again.
It will surely hit other EV’s too if you can pick up a brand new base model Tesla for €40K
Ah okay this helps a lot, was thinking you'd be left carless and down ~50k for weeks or possibly months.
They will ask for payment around 3 weeks before delivery. They will give you time to pay, but will only register the car, 24-48 hours before delivery, only when payment is registered on your account. Payment is normally registered there within 24 hours.
Couple of days before delivery is generally fine, know a few people who paid the week of collection
What would be the time between when you have to pay for the car and when you actually get to pick it up? Thinking of getting one but I would need to sell my current car to help fund the model Y and don't want to be renting a car for too long.
Hah hah! Very true! Thanks! 😂
This.
No Model Y RWD’s were delivered until January 2023. No data is available.
You shouldn’t be thinking about it that way.
Think about if that extra is worth it to you while you own it.
When I bought an Evo 5, I didn’t think, would I be better with the 1.6 petrol. Or the M3, I didn’t think, maybe I’ll get the 320i.
The increases in buying, maintenance, running costs were worth it for me.
Once your selling, you just have to wait for a buyer that appreciates that too.
Could be dead tomorrow. Enjoy.
There is no data as RWD Mod Y have just hit the market (earliest delivery Q4 2022 of Q1 2023) ...so any views are likely to be speculative and not based on reliable data.
