Yes, this is the obvious solution but whoever is managing their Irish inventory/deliveries is obviously clueless or maybe never heard of the €5K SEAI grant. They seem intent on making it as difficult as possible to buy a grant qualifying LR Tesla in Ireland.
Are we sure tesla will honor the price change - or should we contact them directly about it? Due to get M3 April 19-May 4.

Yes definitely. Bumper needs to come off to fit the receiver for the removable tow bar. Also connect up the light socket.
pretty straightforward for a competent mechanic. But in fairness not something someone would be keen to do to their span new car.
I’ll wait it out and retrofit it one way or another. Assume you can buy the tow bar kit somewhere.
I want a MYLR and won’t get one under the grant with a hitch so will always be a retrofit. Whither done by Tesla or my own mechanics.

You can buy it from Tesla after delivery. A ranger will fit it in the garden.
I have cancelled my Model Y order this morning, but it still shows under my account. Also, the car i reserved can be seen in inventory Blue MY RWD. Any recommendations?
How did you cancel? Did you reply to the text/email they sent to cancel it? Whenever I cancelled a car (either by chat or in store) it disappeared immediately from my account.
I ordered a MY RWD blue / white (when there were 2 advertised in inventory) and there were still two there in inventory afterwards.
So it seems they have more stock than advertised.
I have been getting telegram alerts almost constantly for the past 3-4 days when they first started showing up. Easily 3-5 an hour almost. They are up as relisted.
I was on chat with them, also they sent me the usual text to confirm it which i did. It still shows under my account but also under the inventory. Also till yesterday there was blue one's by priced at 49k, i booked it at 47811.
Why would you want to fit a tow bar in the garden? Back of the car would be better 😁

I can’t see how the cars could be in Dublin port today. Tesla have constantly said the vessel arrives 19th. We also have not been notified of delivery slots. If the cars were in Dublin port we would have collection dates by now. Sit tight for another few weeks.
It's surprising alright. Webcams don't seem to be a thing any more either. All I can see is where Seine Highway is docked. Sentinel-2B won't be overhead for another 8 hours !

Look back over the thread, EU distance selling legalisation. Just email them quoting that and they'll forward to Dutch office and refund. Might take a bit longer to get now as people were doing multiple orders, I got mine after a couple of days.
Deposit is fully refundable under distance selling rules. I canceled 2 weeks ago and refund came in 3 days later
Can’t transfer orders as Tesla will cancel them. They have done this recently at least twice.
Having written my own Telegram/Discord alerting system for this (yeah, getting a Tesla makes you do things you wouldn't think you'd never think of doing just for buying a car), I can tell you the notifications are happening because of some weirdness on Tesla's website with these inventory cars. Every once in a while the URL of the cars on the inventory keeps changing (usually back and forth between the same 2 URLs per car). So the code behind that Telegram group keeps thinking that cars are being taken off the website when the URL changes, then relisted when it changes back, even though I am pretty sure they are the same exact cars. Just a glitch on Tesla's website I think, a bit annoying. I had to work around that when doing my own tool, so it doesn't constantly show cars as relisted the same way the existing Telegram group does. Only learned about the Telegram group when I already had my tool up and running..
I am thinking about releasing my tool for everyone in Ireland at some point, it also scans for pricing updates (that's how I found about the prices changing last night when I posted), but it needs a bit more polishing and I need to actually manage to get a car before giving everone else an opportunity to "steal" my spot :)... still no Tesla for me, only orders waiting for VIN... thanks to the tool I was part of the firesale drama as well, now waiting patiently for more price cuts or inventory discounts and more emails from Kelly.

Mine was with black interior , blue RWD with 47811. It shows back in inventory at the moment. I upgraded my other order of M3 RWD to M3 LR white.
