Spot on. For the last 3-4 months we heard that Bakhmut was falling. Just as the Wagner group was giving up the UA started to conceed it to the Wagner group which has dragged in some elite Russian troops ( airborne/ paratrooper and commando type troops). In other words the UA has fixed the Wagner and some of the rest Russian troops in Bakhmut.
Watch what happens when the ground dries up.
Maybe the leaks were made on purpose with false info included in them on Ukraine in order to lull the Russians into a false sense of security!
And maybe russia and wagner group are doing the same and when Ukraine begins their counter offensive, they may may get more resistance from the dug in russians than they expected to.
Especially if the Russians have zeroed in where they expect the attack to come from.
Hope I am wrong.
Little Moscow.
It was well known for posting pro Kremlin articles on the invasion of Ukraine 9 years ago, doubt much has changed
BUK and S-300 are the backbone of Ukraine's air defense. The threat of these systems forces Russia to fly low (if they choose to venture into Ukraine), attempting to stay under the radar horizon of these systems - which brings them into range of manpads if they happen to fly over one.
If Ukraine run out of ammo for BUK and S-300 - which they will soon if the leaks are true - Russia no longer have a reason to fly low. They can fly high, safely above the ceiling of manpads.
Because of Ukraine's hitherto-effective air defenses, if Russia want to hit a target deep within Ukraine they typically use a cruise/ballistic missile, a Shahed type drone or a glide bomb launched far away from the target (and potential SAM sites). They are low on stocks of all these and have slow production capacity.
If Ukraine's air defenses become degraded then Russia can fly further into Ukraine, destroy targets with guided bombs rather than use cruise missiles. This would be very bad news for Ukraine because Russia have barely tapped into their inventory of these yet.
The SBU is behind the explosion of the Russian A-50 aircraft in the Belarusian Machulishchi, writes The Economist.
The fact that it was Malyuk’s department that was responsible for this “bavovna” was previously said with reference to sources. Now the information is confirmed by a Pentangon data leak.
As Head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk said earlier, “the bavovna burned, burns and will burn.” And a number of experts noted that blowing up such a strategic aircraft is another super-complicated special operation of the Service. Obviously, a separate unit that deals with drones has intensified its work in the SBU.
Didn't happen, according to Gatling. No damage either. It was fake news.
Looks like someone was wrong to be so dismissive.
And as I said, could really swing the advantage to Russia when the counter offensive begins.
Wasn't blown up.....
Sorry that's not going to change,
Most of the Russian aircraft shot down over ukraine in the last few months were taken down with manpads, not buk or S300s, they have steadily receiving other systems, Russia won't send aircraft deeper into ukraine, hence why they stick to the blacksea launching missles from 70-100 + kms away,
Ukraine still have aircraft to intercept Russian aircraft and the help of Nato to track targets even if they don't have transponders on,
Russia is low on missles , cruise or other too , hence why they have stopped mass rocket attacks over the last few months,
The only Russian aircraft flying into ukraine are aircraft flying close air support low and slow over bakhmut and elsewhere but the Ukrainans are shooting down multiple aircraft every single week, Russia doesn't have a infinite supply of jets and aircraft despite what some believe
Not looking good for this man..
"JAILED RUSSIAN DISSIDENT Alexei Navalny is ill and without treatment has lost eight kilograms (nearly 18 pounds) in just over two weeks, his lawyer said Tuesday.
The 46-year-old was arrested in January 2021 upon returning from Germany, where he recovered from a poison attack the previous year he blamed on the Kremlin.
Navalny, Russia’s leading opposition figure, is now serving a nine-year sentence on embezzlement and other charges that his supporters see as a punishment for him challenging President Vladimir Putin."
Some people were complaining of the army being called Orcs. Claimed it was demeaning. Claimed they should be called the Russian army.
Well here's the Russian army. Putin's golden Palace right royal army.
Meanwhile...
I've said before but it bears repeating, give Ukraine everything it needs to purge that invading filth from their land.
If all the food you tried to serve me was laced with polonium, I'd probably lose a load of weight as well.
muscovy orcs are no different to isis barbarians.
Just saw the censored video,
No words .........
I have three words, don't watch it.
True, nothings gonna change your mind, believes. At first you claimed this didn't happen, then no damage blah blah blah.... Now you just make up new excuses. You're right and everybody who disagrees with you is wrong.
In this occasion I'm right it wasn't blown up it's that simple,
Lets see if the war rage same time next year,if Ukraines offensive goes well or they sit at the negotiating table
Obviously this was to to complicated for ye
And remember this is worst case scenario,i dont say it will happen, but could happen
Dont take it personal
And yet you havent looked hard enough,or simply dont bother
A quick goigle search will give atleast an indication
Actually they lost hell of alot of tanks, but still have alot left as well, unfortunately
How many thats actually in a state where you can use them, nobody knows, and nobody knows if the russian economy is able to afford to upgrade them either or that they have enough spare parts and electronics for more advanced systems, that they recived from the west
Looks like Ukraine might do soon as well,if these leaks from Pentagon are true, and i hope not, because then Russia will have a great advantage with air superiority.
So the sooner they start the offensive the better
True, but we can infer from recent battles such as Vuhledar where they used (and lost) over a hundred mid level tanks (mostly T80BV amd T73B3) that while they still have some stocks, they are greatly diminished and not new. The extent to which they can put stored tanks into operation is also questionable - while they have brought a surprising amount out of storage successfully, they presumably start with the best/most functional first. So what is left is of increasingly poor quality.
Plus, while Ukraine can fight until their last tank is gone, Russia cant. Russia have to maintain a tank fleet after the war to maintain a supposed defence against NATO, China etc. So the point at which they have run out of tanks for Ukraine is alsoa point where they still have thousands of tanks on paper
Ehm, no. Read my post. You claimed attack didn't happen, then there were no damage, now it wasn't blown up. You messed up, but instead of admitting that, you're coming up with new excuses.
Thanks. We may have a different opinion on some stuff, but you just gained some extra respect points from me.
No one can argue this could be legit but where did the video emerge from? The tweet just says "the Russians". Has it been independently verified?
Most videos of shootdowns are via manpad. Most shootdowns (by number) are with S-300 and BUK.
Manpads are only effective as point-defense, when the enemy is flying low. The only reason Russia fly low is due to the threat of S-300 and BUK systems.
Ukraine have not "steadily received" anything to replace the capability of S-300 and BUK. When you have defended your skies for a year with 250 S-300s and 100 BUKs (#s at the beginning) you cannot replace this capability with one (!) Patriot battery or one (!) Iris-T.
Nobody in the West has enough spare systems and missiles of any type to replace the capability that Ukraine are about to lose.
Yes Russia are low on cruise missiles, I stated that. If Ukraine's air defense becomes degraded then Russia will be less reliant on cruise missiles, they can put bombs directly on targets.
Patience my man, have patience.

This is being quoted by multiple sources this morning. And they are saying its coming straight from Russian social media, apparently the mercenaries shared the video themselves.
So looks legit. Whats scary is it also shows many positive comments and likes from the Russian public who viewed it with only a few negative comments.
Horrendous stuff if true, unfortunately nothing like this is surprising anymore.
Same stuff was done to Russian soldiers in Chechnya years ago iirc. You'd think they would have learned from that. Orc is too nice of a word to describe the utter scum that Russian mothers have produced.....
