Might as well get a thread started for this one.

Are peoples excitement levels building? Will the new tees impact on the bombers?

Can Rory get it over the line, it's probably some of the best form he's had coming into the Masters?

Will the LIV guys show up, without having played a lot of 72 hole competitive golf? I see that Cam Smith is the only player on the pre tournament interview schedule, which I assume is a conscious snub of some big name past champs.

Could definitely be some interesting pairings depending on how things play out?

The standard these days is phenomenal, like nothing we've ever seen before, much higher than when tiger could just shoot 70 on Sunday and everyone else fell away. Rory may win another major but he'll have to be a the top of his game and putting needs to be top notch.

Mcginley was just giving his opinion. He felt that the LIV players might not go so well as they would not have had the same level of competition prior masters. I don't understand where you're getting "sanctimonious " from that.

Those trees were there last (and previous) years according to Google Earth. But it looks like they took some out behind the 17th tee around 2019/20. That might have exposed the others to wind that they would have been sheltered from before.

Not ideal for him that it's the Masters he needs to win. The weight of history at that course weighs heavily on lads.

I can't stand Jock Koepka and his too cool for school demeanour - but him being there adds a bit of spice to the tournament. Hopefully some of the other controversial characters i.e. Mickelson, Reed can close the gap.
