Our Jan 13 LR order that was showing Apr-Jun until this morning, now asked to confirm vision acceptance and has changed to Apr 25 - May 10.

Spoke with Tesla Ireland this week. They reckon the next shipment from Shanghai has approx double the number of cars as the last delivery to Ireland in Feb/ March. I’d imagine many awaiting VINs could be assigned as and when whichever ship they’re on hits the Suez Canal!
What did you order Josip - grant qualifying LR? I ordered white MYLR with black interior, standard wheels, on 10th Feb and still have generic April-June EDD. Here's hoping they are working through the list of MYLR orders, and they assign up to 10th Feb! 🤞
MY RWD in MSM ordered today but no VIN showing when using the VIN decoder plugin. What are my chances of receiving before the grant reduction?

I logged into my account this evening. Previously on my order there was a link to a PDF of the order agreement. The PDF has final price, full T’s and Cs, etc.
The link is now gone and I can’t get to the PDF. Does this mean anything in the magical world of figuring out when the car will arrive?
Yes, a basic grant qualifying LR. However, the VIN is 73**** which, like the firesale Red LR we had for a while, indicates a week 2 January production date.

I still have serious reservations about where the car has been since February. Cars don't stay long in Shanghai, so it would have been in Europe by the end of February. I previously didn't think Tesla could sell a rejected car from the UK in Ireland as new, but maybe it's an ex-demo with thousands of kms like the Model 3 they've been trying to pass off as new recently? I'll contact Tesla on Tuesday to see what I can find out.
I think the shipment we're getting from the UK contains quite a lot of early Jan cars. The more I think about it (never a good thing) the more I think Tesla UK were asked/told to transfer some of their stock over to Paddy. Now if you were Tesla UK, you'd probably use the opportunity to offload any lemon/reject/demo/showroom car you could as 'new'. Paddy won't mind and they're so desperate for Teslas in Ireland, they'll take anything. It's possible that Tesla were giving these particular cars a serious discount in order to try to shift them in the UK and forgot to originally remove that discount when offloading them to Paddy. I know I'm sounding a bit paranoid here, but it's a long time for a car to remain unsold, even in the UK.
My Lr is a 73 also, I received the VIN a few weeks ago.

I've seen a couple of model y's in the flesh today (blue LR & white RWD). Both looked really well in the wild.
IMO, the Y looks better from the rear (🙂) and the 3 looks better from the front.
If only there was a 3 with a hatchback, you'd probably have the best of both worlds

Every car manufactured worldwide has its own unique number, called a Vehicle Identification Number "VIN" (17 characters), disclosing details of car where it was manufactured, Model year etc. Use the link below to source specific detail.....there is an input field also to put n a specific VIN and it will decode it for you.
i read recently that all 2023 MYs now come with the parcel shelf as standard. Can anyone confirm?

I ordered in February, MYRWD, and have been allocated a "75" VIN.
Would anyone who received their MY RWD last month like to share their vin? So we have a comparison.
If the march delivery has a higher vin, we have our answer.
Interesting that you mention the 73*** VIN you have been assigned for the MY LR.
I also have a M3 LR I'm thinking of taking up and it has a VIN of 77*** with a delivery window of 17th Apr - 4th May.
Does anyone know which vin decoder comes back with a range of dates to provide a window of build month?

Looking at the 3 decoder it doesn't seem to be as up to date as the Y numbers.
The latest it has is;

Tempted by that but the forged one looks class! Might wait for that to re-stock!

I have the Vin from last week after adjusting the 14/01 order and have 75 in the last 6 digits of the VIN. Looking at that looks like a good while after 29/01 so hopefully a fresh one and not one from the Kelly80 batch. It's a RWD blue
On that note - it might go away after the some time: for anyone with miles done in the RWD : apart from the range is the ride quality any different to LR? Say in rain etc? Driving an AWD now so dont want to get a shock when we switch. A test drive will never answer all the questions vs owning the car for extended periods of time
