Stick loads of cloves of garlic in it and a few sprigs of rosemary- can't go wrong. Roast the spuds a few steamed veg and you're done. Don't stress yourself out mashing spuds and veg and worrying about timing it. Keep it simple. If the lamb's good (and it will be with the garlic and rosemary) it will be the star attraction.

If you're anything like me, the "To Do" list stretches off into infinity in your mind's eye and you visualise yourself completing the tasks and mentally ticking them off.
Then you realise you've sat drinking tea and reading Boards for an hour and you're going to have to either get a wiggle on or rein in your expectations! π€£

Have a flock of sparrows in the hedge/briars next the house. Lovely to hear them chirping and chattering especially at dawn and dusk. Pays dividends to let the garden go a bit wild. π And the buzzards are back. Couple overhead getting mobbed by a crow. It's definitely warmer today. And the sun is out. Hope everyone managing ok.

I'm in my sister's looking after my niece and nephew for a few hours, currently being ordered around by my 3 year old niece π .
I survived lol, I absolutely hate going to the dentist, it's never good news and costs a fortune. I wish they'd put me under a full anaesthetic and work away.βΊοΈ
I'm freezing again today and the forecast says this will be the best day of the weekend, it really needs to start heating up, I can't function in it.
Traffic was crazy earlier, myself and my friend were talking about Good Friday years ago, the whole country shut down, we all had to go to the stations of the cross at 3pm ,it was also a fasting day, how times have changed , it was always an eerie kind of day tbh.
The pubs can open today now yea?

Shattered tired after a very long day of meeting friends for cycling and an Easter style picnic in the Phoenix Park. It was dry and sunny but a tad cool and even chilly at times - but the allure of a picnic spread on an old duvet cover with different cheeses, breadsticks, crackers, red pepper chutney, apple chutney and onion marmalade plus scones and butter, crisps, tea in a thermos flask, biccies....AND Kinder surpise eggs (my idea) for all three of us.
