Im wondering if it’s not possible to have a vicious , lieing, immoral lapdog lacking in any sense of self awareness that’s not technically a part of a more “righteous” alternative but is able to lob back the kind of nonsense that comes from these clowns. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on Wednesday issued a warning to Simon & Schuster about an upcoming tell-all book written by a prosecutor who quit the office’s investigation into former President Donald Trump.
“Mr. Pomerantz is under an obligation to receive prior written permission from the DA’s Office before making any disclosures relating to the ‘existence, nature, or content’ of any communications or records or documents that relate in any manner” to the probe, reads a letter sent to the publishing house by Bragg’s general counsel Leslie Dubeck.
Bragg is worried that former prosecutor Mark Pomerantz’s book, “People v. Donald Trump: An Inside Account,” could prejudice his ongoing criminal investigation into Trump, according to Dubeck’s letter, obtained by The Post.
The missive, also addressed to Pomerantz, warned him “not to take any further stops that damage an ongoing criminal investigation.”
Jordan seems to have considered that missive and to take a sledgehammer to the case vis. prejudicing an ongoing criminal investigation, with the immunities and privileges of Congress.
There may be a legal challenge to him testifying similar to how most all of anyone called to testify into a Trump investigation has motioned everything from prejudicing investigations to executive privilege as reasons they will not or legally cannot testify.

It's a 107 page decision, assuming the Appeals court has rounded the bases I don't know that SCOTUS will pick up a docket off this, but if they left questions open as reported, and given how big of a deal this case is to the american public, they probably will in that case take it up. Good run down of the various legal cases Trump has coming his way. The EJ Carroll rape & defamation trial is the next one up starting two weeks on Monday, that will be running simultaneously to the Dominion v Fox News case which starts the same week. Trump is using the Prince Andrew defence saying he never even met EJ Carroll despite there being photos of them together. The Stormy Daniels case isnt for mention again until early December with a January 2024 trial date expected. Before that he, Ivanka, Eric and Jnr are on trial on October 2nd in the New York Supreme Court for inflating his properties values to get bank loans and deflating them to get tax breaks. Letita James wants the Trump Org to repay $250m for running the scam and to also barr him and his children from operating a business in New York again.
Michael Cohen has a $20m civil suit against him but there are no date on that yet. Police officers at the Capitol have a civil case for Jan 6th, Trump lost round 1 to get the case dismissed and is currently appealing that, decision is due soon and its likely to go to trial. Then another case where its alleged he promoted a ponzi scheme on the Celebrity Apprentice, thats starting its trial in January 2024. Then an artist Eddy Grant is suing Trump for $300k copyright infringement for using his song without permission at campaign rallies.
Then he has got the three big ones which are just simmering away in the background. The Jan 6th insurrection and Mar a Lago cases are both being run by the same prosecutor who is schtum on whats going on. My guess is some day in June or July out of the blue Trump will be hit with a thunderbolt when they announce to charge him with federal level crimes. The Fulton County, Georgia case is even further along, a grand jury there have already voted for multiple charges against Trump so now it goes to an ordinary jury to ratify it. That case is no longer just about the perfect phone call seeking 11,000 votes, Trump (with Rudy) also had a plan to send a slate of fake electors to the Georgia legislature to try to overthrow the states election results so there is even more charges there.
During all of these legal cases Trump will be simultaneously trying to win the Republican party Presidential nomination. Iowa's primary is February 2024 and New Hampshire shortly after that. The great thing is he going to steam roll all candidates before him but at the same time he is likely to have federal charges hanging over him. 2024 is going to be about as much of Trump running for the White House as it is about him fighting to keep himself out of prison.
