The tow bar can be added afterwards so never order that at the start and you’ll save the VRT too.
No idea, at least we know if you've got a vin then the car is on the ship/enroute. I was watching others order after me and get a VIN. Didn't want to wait until who knows when for the red.

I have the only 2 specs for MY LR that qualify for the grant ordered
White with black, no other options
Black with black, no other options
both have generic apr-jun EDD's - So 50/50 whether they even make the July 1 deadline IMO

Changed my MY RWD White to Blue and got a VIN straight away, delivery Apr 25 - May 10! Delighted 😀

I got that text 7 weeks before I collected the car.
I have MYLR Black/Black on order since Feb. App tells me April-June delivery date.

Yup. Nothing in email, or app yet.
Sadly I would say you have little to no chance of getting this before June.
I ordered the same on Jan 14 and still have no VIN. There would have been an astronomical number of those orders between Jan 14 to Feb so you’ll be way down the queue. Tesla show the earliest possible date you can get a car, then delay you when you don’t (already happened to me in Feb/March). They don’t provide realistic dates.

It’s 2 weeks out from the EDD. Is it safe to assume it’s just another tesla spoof. You’d like to think at this stage 2 weeks away they have SOME clue about what’s happening with the April-may slot

I originally ordered in January and never got a VIN assigned, just a generic Feb-Mar estimate. Everyone I spoke to in Tesla said I'd get one. I'd suggest using the edit design option suggested here to see if you get a VIN match. The Tesla reps will say conflicting things but ultimately can't do anything. It's you versus the machine!
They would say mass if you gave them a collar!!
Agree with this. Similar situation, Tesla staff member promised that because my EDD was still March that I’d be on March boat. No only did I miss that one. I missed the April/May delivery as well! They just say whatever gets you off chat/away from showroom the fastest.
Hi all. Arrived at destination this morning Irish time after a day travelling and am massively jet lagged. Have heard nothing about my incorrectly cancelled full price MY.
What's the latest?
All base LR’s are grant qualifying for the next delivery.
Id drop the wheels and pick them up once you have the car. Your paying 6k for a set of wheels 😮
