Think the issue is related to using the offer when purchasing rather than spending gift vouchers etc...

I asked Lidl Customer Service why they had changed the Scratch & Win from freebies to FREE (if you spend €20).

They said it's based on customer research! 😮

I wonder which or how many or any customers gave them that answer?😒

Customer research isn't the same as customer feedback.

Customer research could be looking at how customers use the coupons e.g. what % only come in to purchase the free product and leave without spending anything else.

I have largely stopped using the app - the small % savings are not worth it unless you are definitely buying it anyway imo

Is the scratchard thing still going anyway? Haven’t received anything today

Lidl needs to start doing €5 of €25 I want to shop to Lidl as I like the protein yogurts and fit foods, body spray etc and loads more but I go to dunnes because €20 is a lot to me saved a month pays for my phone etc

Yes that’s correct. Was looking for an easy way to use the €3 off €30 coupon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 702 ✭✭✭questionmark

I have gotten Spotify vouchers on ebay and adverts before, easy way to save a few euro.

3 off 30 is only good to me if I'm getting something from middle isle in lidl. Otherwise it's just a pain to figure out what scratch card it will be on, and then only have a week to use it. Dunnes 5 off 25 is so much easier when I know I can get the voucher anytime and then not be in a rush to use it.

Any one have any luck finding oats this week ? I have checked 4 lidls and no luck

    Quiet around these parts

This week’s coupon code is PARKRUN555 and will allow you a choice between fun-size clementines and unsalted cashew nuts to help fuel you for, or recover from, your weekly parkrun.

Fairly pathetic when Dunnes are giving 10 off 50

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,541 ✭✭✭duridian

I thought the organic mushrooms last week were okay, can be used in making soups etc

The bags of salad stuff like the Caesar salad alternative to the mushies last week are pretty useless though. Basically these things are just a bag of bitter, tough leaf stumps, with 99%+ of the actual lettuce/rocket/chard leaf removed. I don't know how anyone would want them. I certainly wouldn't bother with them again having tried them, and I eat only vegetables, so I am probably more "lettuce and salad friendly" than the average customer.

It’s also only valid for 3 more days, so you would need to be doing your easter shopping very early for it to help with it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,381 ✭✭✭✭thesandeman

Do you need to spend 20 to activate the second and third at the same time or does a tenner work?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,067 ✭✭✭crayon80

Haven't tried yet. But both can be activated simultaneously which leads me to believe €10 will be enough?
