that's the way it works on the S alright but not the 3
Much prefer that it opens when you go to the door handle. Had a car that everytime I walked passed it would open, so disabled keyless entry.
Yes, agree. Was in new Ionic 6 this morning and as I was walking around it taking a few pics the mirrors were opening and closing and door handles were popping in and out.
Guarantee it was 439km.
Will charge again tonight to 100% to see what says this time, car had been sitting around for a few hours at 100% when said 420 earlier and had been playing with app a few times..
I meant when new, sorry.
Yes, I know. Don't think I ever saw quite that high, even when new, I think about 435 perhaps.
I don't really care, EPA range could be programmed to decrease with time. Real life range doesn't appear to have decreased.
Spanner confirmation sure enough you need to pull the handle 🔧
2.9% seems like a significant loss to me considering it was practically all home charging with the LFP battery. Hopefully losses will won't be so bad in the coming years.
It always was a bit higher in year 1. As you say, hopefully less from now on..
Battery degradation is not linear.
The first year is the worse on all batteries.
This morning showed 425km on GOM when fully charged, so does seem to vary slightly.
Has anyone had issues with trying to enter an address into the service request section of the Tesla app? It is fully recognising the address but does nothing after this stage so I can't book the job. I've also tried just using the current location function. I'm using an android phone.
Hi all,
Have a serious amount of water coming from under my Model 3 when pulling away after been parked (and there was heavy rainfall). Is this normal? This is not condensation from Aircon, more like a full bucket of water.
No, not at all normal
Have the car 2 weeks today and I must say I love it.
What a car to drive, so easy, one peddle driving is so nice even the notorious wipers have been quite good, tech just phenomenal. I can barely afford it but I couldn't care less.
Im 2.5 years in and still feel the same.
Sure there are nicer cars out there, but for the amount of time I spend in this car traversing the country, it makes driving sooo easy. Be it on the motorway, overtaking with confidence on a winding country road or in stop/start traffic on the M50.
Have logged it on the app for a service appointment. I see it gives the option to upload photos. Should have taken a video earlier. Will have the phone ready in the morning!
Yip, agree. A joy to drive. Push the peddle and it just goes, and goes and goes! When you let it loose it just feels like you'd imagined when you were a kid wondering what it would be like sitting in a Scalextric!
Thanks. Have an appointment with the Ranger in two weeks time. From the app it is telling me that they need to install an O-ring onto the power strut of the trunk.
That’s a default diagnosis for a Ranger booking
Yeah - I figure they have a lot of o-rings in stock :P
Good to know and that makes sense.
Are the only options for wipers the ones on the Tesla website? I see that Bosch does a set (A871S) but I can't find anywhere that stocks them.
Here they are on eBay;
Any idea of delivery costs?
They are €52 for the set direct from Tesla so double check before ordering from eBay.
not sure to be honest as I’ve only gotten 1 set, and it was from Tesla…..
could probably do with a new set this summer so will be definitively trying to get the dames ones cheaper somewhere….
Want to change the cabin filters this summer myself actually. The M3 needs 2 of them.
I checked their website, they don't post to Ireland unfortunately.
Yeah good shout, I’m on 77k and have not done them yet…
