What's "common since"? (Is it the thing that is missing in your post? )
I suspect it's the Russian-sponsored version of "common sense" where aggresive invasions are rewarded with "Diplomacy".
Kinda of felt that screams of "Peace" from Russian-backed sources would preclude a counter-offensive, but I'm surprised that the "they've only got Old Men & Boys" line is also being rolled out there to describe the AFU. The Ukrainians are clearly the more proffesional force, and they didn't even need to start emptying the prison-system to fill its ranks.
I expect increasing demands of "common since" in the coming months :)
And until the Russian body bags stop coming out of Bakhmut, the Russians are not in full control either.
At the time I said that Xi's visit was to see what sort of condition Vlad is in. Probably didn't like what he saw. From the sounds of that defector Vlad has gone radio rental Berlin bunker style
???
What a dickhead
A massive dickhead! How on earth did Amerikay end up with such a self deluded, blaggarding loud mouth anywhere near the seat of power?
Interesting article. If it's even half true Putin seems to have turned into a paranoid loon living in a total bubble. The sheer expense that must be involved in protecting this vile person is obscene.
Last comment is also interesting - no indications that Putin has a serious illness. And I remember all the medical experts here who couldn't stop delivering terminal diagnoses a year ago confidently predicting he had only months left.
He's convinced he could have stopped putin with a phone call, but yet he tried to Blackmail the Ukrainans to investigate the Biden family or he would withhold security aid
man, your wasting your breath on anwering to coo-coo.
It's nothing we already didn't know,
He's losing grip on all reality, not just in Ukraine , pretty obvious he has multiple health issues going on nuro and psychological
Time for common since and diplomacy.
You know this is the refrain of someone sucking down russian propaganda?
Will you be the first to outline how this gets resolved in a manner where russia doesn't keep immolating itself on the world stage.
Yeah sure, the guy who spent his presidency with Putin's dick in his mouth would have put a stop to the Russian invasion. 🙄
ruSSians have no future. They should be isolated for at least next 3 generations. 😨
A ukrainian guy met 2 nice ruSSian girls. They were nice until they opened their mouth. For those who do not understand this soon forbiden fascist lingo...
Girls: why are you not in basement?
Guy: why are you asking this with such a happiness?
Girls: Well, my dad went to Ukraine to bomb you.
Guy: why (for what)?
Girls: why not?
Guy: does your dad likes to kill civilians?
Girls: yes, coz that is sooo nice. Its just that our Putin is better than your clown Zelenskiy
and at the end of conversation these 'sweet angels' said - Ok, bye. Go to basement. In case you suddenly die.
Just on that last note, it's perfectly possible to be wasting away for years without ever getting diagnosed with anything. I have direct experience with that unfortunately. My own grandmother went that way for years. They tested her for everything: cancer, malnutrition, every disease that they could test for back in the late 90s and early 2000s they tired. All came back negative, and yet she lost weight & muscle mass much faster than she should have given her age. I think that something similar might be going on with Putin, especially since their alcohol consumption is probably equal as well.
By all accounts Putin rarely drinks alcohol, so if he does have chronic health issues we can eliminate that as the cause.
Looks like the ministry of defense in Moscow may be on fire 🔥 🔥🔥
Probably erasing all the offshore bank accounts before Ukraine attacks
Ukraine have some of the best equipment, best trained troops and a huge intelligence and recon edge over Russia. But Russia has the edge because in one narrow area they are better i.e. they produce more unguided ww2 era artillery shells that they have been using to great effect to plough fields and kill civilians in town. And the stupid West are falling behind in this one area because they chose to stop making these useless weapons. Thats why Russia will win?
Do I have this right?
Soon it will be easier to tell us what is not on fire in Moscow 😮
Ireland in NATO doesn't sound bad but it won't happen unless Russia does something aggressive against us.
A US base here would be a big economic boost and I'd have no issue either considering our army almost doesn't exist. Shannon is pretty much a USA airbase already so what's the difference.
Would America even want a base here? Where's the next nearest one..
Welcome to boards...
*gets popcorn.
They already have an air base in Shannon 😂
The Ukrainians seem to be pretty determined to.
They have 6 airbases In the UK already, after that they have multiple bases across Germany , Belgium and Italy and Poland
Doubt they would need one here ,a Naval station makes sense essentially as there is nothing but water between our west coast and their east coast possibly a radar and intelligence gathering facility could be an option too
It's the Ukrainans Choice to fight to the death, unlike your comrades
Given a choice between Bucha or battle, I can see why Ukrainians are as determined as they are.
Given that Russia has repeatedly violated treaties such as Budapest signed with Ukraine intended to preserve peace ... how do these peace talks lead to a durable peace. And not just a chance for Russia to re-arm?
Its a false presumption that peace talks will lead to peace.
Because that is Russias track record under Putin.
If Russia havent abided by other treaties, why would this one be different.
So Ukraine fights now because that is the only choice Russia has given it, short of surrender or a mere truce.
no
What would you propose as a reasonable compromise? Territorial concessions? Allowing political control over another sovereign state? Reparations? Go on, tell us what peace terms might reasonably be agreed between the parties.
The reality is that the parties are too far apart for neogtiations. Ukraine wants its freedom and independence. Russia wants it not to have those things. These are incompatible demands as far as I can see, but Id welcome your thoughts since you think peace can be achieved.
