I’m also trying (with no luck) to know this. The 19th delivery window seems to be still on schedule according to sandyford.
It's bang on 2 weeks today to April 19th which is the first day of the delivery window so maybe they'll start making arrangements although when I spoke to the guys in Tesla previously they said the boat was only due into Ireland around the 19th and delivery would start 2 weeks from then so hard to know...
Either way, I cancelled my January order when I picked up a sale car but then that was cancelled on me so now I'm back to square one with a new order placed and a generic April to June EDD 🙄

Or is that just a standard one? I have two VINs but only got that text and a similar email for one of the cars.
I received a text on 10th Feb to schedule collection for 16th March. There was a good few slots unavailable for the two weeks when I got the text so some texts were earlier.
"Inspired" by this thread, I've rented a Tesla Model 3 for a jaunt around the Adriatic coast this weekend. Any top tips?
If it's a rental, can I use things like the Tesla app etc.?
I've had a Polestar2 out on rental before and found the charging experience to be pretty awful.
No, I was told they couldn't move. I already had a trade in sitting with my M3 order since Feb, then on Monday I got a message to reject or accept the final trade in off. I accepted and it asked me to upload a pic of my logbook which I've done. Still sitting are Apr-June though

It'll depend on the rental agency - I've previously used UFODrive before and the car lock/unlock/start, etc. is through the UFO Drive App rather than the Tesla App. The UFO Drive is already set up for charging, you just plug into a Supercharger and off it goes. For other providers, like ionity, shell, etc. there is usually a generic RFID card in the glove box and it's covered in the price of rental.
I haven't had experience with Hertz or others that have started renting Teslas, though, so not sure about how they handle it (sorry)
Would anyone have idea why a "new Car" would have close to 3K kms on it. This is in the inventory but no grant. It says new car but theres close to 3K kms on it. It's the exact spec I ordered back in Feb. Could it be a customer return?

Tesla have separate production lines for Mod 3 and Mod Y at their Shanghai plant and Q1 deliveries to Ireland included many Mod 3 cars . With the EDD's for Q2 it is not unusual that VIN,s have not all been notified. Don't lose faith at this stage and keep checking your accounts for hidden VIN.
Exactly! The 4-5 cars there are all marked as Demo but that says new car so I'm thinking a customer return

I did a test drive of that yesterday. It's not a new car. It's a 222 car. I asked 3 times was I sitting in the right car and he double checked the VIN and said yes.
Exactly, I'm on live chat about it now. They're telling me no one will be auto matched to it because it has milage, their adamant that it is a "new car" though.. which is bizarre. I'm arguing that if it is new then it should have the grant applied. They also said my existing order has no VIN assigned and that VINs are assigned "while a vehicle is in transit and 3 weeks from delivery" so I guess that's April 19th delivery window out :(
EDIT: just been told that if I "want to matched to Model 3 in the inventory which is the same spec as your order you will need to call 01-5..... but it will cost €5k than your current order and your trade in cannot be moved over".... If the cars weren't so damn good I'd have walked away ages ago

Exactly what I said to him. All the 222 demo's are 5k more expensive than buying a new one. I think either that white one was labeled on the site incorrectly as new instead of demo, or the guy brought me to the wrong car (although he did go back inside to double check and brought his laptop out to triple check. He also followed up with me after with an email link to the "new car" if I wanted to purchase it and he referenced it as a demo car in the text).
It's because the 5K EV Grant isn't appliable to Ex-Demo's only "new cars"

my account shows the same until I click in to see the order and it tells me it’s cancelled.
On mine just asks to pay the balance when you get onto order.
Mine is the same, asking me to pay and has the estimated delivery still showing.,
