Price adjusted MYLR (standard white with towbar) cancelled this morning. Couldn't get through to Tesla Ireland, got a callback from Tesla UK, told this was down to the Irish team who were cancelling orders. I mentioned errors in email I received and was told that was down to the Irish team. Kept on repeating it was a pricing error. She checked my account and could see the several payments I had made to date. Advised me to reorder and funds would be moved over to new order- new EDD given as April-June. Otherwise apply for a refund in 2-3 weeks.
Had VIN, was told in Sandyford on Wed afternoon that my car was assigned and would arrive in a few weeks, and advised I could cancel any existing orders if I wanted. I'm unlikely to buy a Tesla now. To be honest after the amount of misinformation and errors I'm not confident owning a car where they effectively control software/updates/upgrades. I know people say the cars are fine, the issues are with the sales process, but it's hard to separate the two after this debacle.

There is no insurance requirement in Ireland. It’s a tab that’s there from other markets.
So on Thursday you were told your discounted order was good even tho at this point they were aware of the price error ?

I was talking about deferred revenue. Anyway I looked at their 10k filling and they have separate deposits line on their balance sheet.

I got my 250 back from standard order that I cancelled on 30th of march after the sale broke out and I couldn't get Tesla to price match it.
Especially after watching the Tesla vision videos and the whole "system issue sale" I will wait a little longer before ordering a Tesla if I ever do.
Thinking about the expected (non-fúck-up-sale) Q2 delivery from Shanghai. Back in Q1, the month-month window tightened up to a 2 week window on the 6th of Jan, cars were being manufactured on the 14th, loaded on the 27th and VINs appeared on the 31st. It would be reassuring to see a similar timeframe in April.

That is really poor form, surely the logical thing to do is correct the pricing and reissue the order agreement as administration.
Should ask if they will cancel everyone's order for Q2 because if that have error with VRT and SEAI and they are cancelling, it would affect nearly everyone one would expect.

I hope Afolabi is wrong because what he's saying contradicts Kelly reinstating my non-sale order yesterday. Another day, another story from Tesla customoer support. They live to serve 🙄 My reinstated order still there, though - for now, albeit VIN-less...

There may be more price cuts on the horizon. Tesla have reduced prices in Australia. The last time that happened we followed suit. Not guaranteed of course but if it does happen here, likely to be announced mid-April similar to the January price cut.

If you have an existing order you'll pay the lower price. I ordered in October and there was a price reduction in January. That was what I paid.
