It really kills me as the cars are great and the prices are now very competitive but the customer experience is absolutely shocking.

I did the long wait this afternoon on the Tesla CS line. The guy I got said that there was a new update this morning on the Ireland situation.
He said that all those sale orders were going to be cancelled, but that may change if it is deemed easier for Tesla just to complete the orders and put it behind them. It looks like that decision has now been made and cancellation is the option.
If this is the standard of Tesla in it's dealings with it's customers, maybe it's for the best that my orders should be cancelled. I buy new cars at the latest 2 years after the previous one and I've never seen such a cack handed way of dealing with a problem that they created.
Now... time to start seriously looking at BYD. It can't be any worse than the Tesla experience!
My final trade in offer on the Model Y is due today.... this 'ill be interesting

I asked for an order update and got this :( I was asked over the weekend to submit final trade in details so this is insanity. Still on the chat, he's refusing to answer whether I can keep the order alive and remove the showroom adjustment and no update on my original order (M3 ordered in Feb) other than " we'll contact you when one is allocated. You're still looking at Apr-Jun" .
EDIT: Got an answer Re: removing the adjustment.
It is not under my discretion, the IE team will take the necessary action on the order

I have a discounted Y LR and it just got cancelled couple of min ago.. and gone from the account, showing "We have received your cancellation request,". Car was paid in full (minus SEAI grant that was not showing yet)

Not yet. None with the discount have beem cancelled yet, right? Maybe we'll be tomorrow.

Pretty sure there would be war if some cars were cancelled and not others. They better not touch my original order from October!
This is a whole load of **** - I thought buying a house is a nightmare and anxiety inducing, but Tesla is giving it a good run for the money.
Absolute shambles – my order is still in but I will be ringing them as soon as anything changes. Their agents confirmed it on the call, so this is not a pricing error. This is them discounting this and then changing their minds about it as they hit a record quarter, simple as. Dodgy behavior.
I thought direct sales from the manufacturer and bypassing a dealer was meant to make the process easier for customers.
