Lads I bought a RWD with no price adjustment a day or 2 before the Fire Sale, when the 50 new Model Y's first appeared
I just got this email, and the car I ordered was removed from my account :
Dear xxx ,
We are writing to notify you of a recent pricing error on the Tesla website advertising a number of with an undue price adjustment. These vehicles were advertised in error as showroom and ex-demonstrator vehicles when in fact they were new vehicles that have not arrived in the Republic of Ireland. The website has been updated to display the correct pricing for these vehicles.
We recognise a number of customers have placed new orders for these vehicles. In line with the Motor Vehicle Order Agreement (‘MVOA’) Tesla may cancel any order if we determine there has been a pricing error. We have shared the relevant clause below:
Cancellation: […] Finally, we may cancel your order if we determine that there was a pricing error, discontinue a product, feature or option after the time you place your order or if we determine that you are acting in bad faith, in which case we also reserve the right to refuse any future orders for other vehicles you may place with us.
In this case your order for RNXXX is being cancelled and Tesla will refund you your order fee of EUR 250.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Same here....a full price RWD with no adjustment,deposit paid over + VIN assigned now cancelled.

Why would they remove a car not involved in this sale?
They must be told to go ahead with the cancellations and have ring fenced the wrong group of cars ..

Perhaps wishful thinking, but wonder was the issue that they accidentally assigned RWD cars to inventory (as system interpreted as not new cars) rather than to the next person on order list. Those RWD cars would likely have had existing orders of that spec.
LR orders wouldn’t have had anyone looking for them at full price.

Do you think they have a legal obligation to honor the sale price and allocating cars that were due to normal orders to sale orders?

This makes no sense. Others during the week reported being given the option of full price. Now it’s full cancellation end of story. It also says in that email the cars were advertised as demo cars which they absolutely were not. Something doesn’t add up..
Reg address is the name and address that Tesla will register the car to. Once entered at this stage. They won’t change it.
Could be the entire batch of cars were never available or they cant get a boat from the UK or something and they should never have been offered .. now they are going to cancel all 80 Model Y's

Nope, they specifically said "coming soon" as far as I know
Also - just looking at the cancellation policy - there was no pricing error on mine, it was 47,811
No email here and the MYLR still on the account at reduced price.
Plus an order I made after fire sale for safety still showing.

Mine also gone, looks like it's with everyone who had even paid in full. I will be sticking with my original order which i didn't cancel thankfully. Let's see when the shipment arrives. Also, some insider was saying that Tesla wanted to show interest orders as well before Q1 close so they made all of this intentional.
Did you have a VIN assigned. This whole thing is just insane. I haven't received the mail, I bought mine during the Fire sale and Tesla chat told me this morning that my VIN is currently being shipped

Got a MY LR in the fire sale. No email and car is still in my tesla account with the VIN. Only a matter of time before it's cancelled?
they are going through the sequentially .. these orders were placed a day or so before the sale, I'd imagine they'll get to the sale cars soon.
Different reasons as in they paid full price?
