Lads I bought a RWD with no price adjustment a day or 2 before the Fire Sale, when the 50 new Model Y's first appeared
I just got this email, and the car I ordered was removed from my account :
Dear xxx ,
We are writing to notify you of a recent pricing error on the Tesla website advertising a number of with an undue price adjustment. These vehicles were advertised in error as showroom and ex-demonstrator vehicles when in fact they were new vehicles that have not arrived in the Republic of Ireland. The website has been updated to display the correct pricing for these vehicles.
We recognise a number of customers have placed new orders for these vehicles. In line with the Motor Vehicle Order Agreement (‘MVOA’) Tesla may cancel any order if we determine there has been a pricing error. We have shared the relevant clause below:
Cancellation: […] Finally, we may cancel your order if we determine that there was a pricing error, discontinue a product, feature or option after the time you place your order or if we determine that you are acting in bad faith, in which case we also reserve the right to refuse any future orders for other vehicles you may place with us.
In this case your order for RNXXX is being cancelled and Tesla will refund you your order fee of EUR 250.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Ohh it’s the same alright. I’ve been here before. I just want to test something before I put in registration details as once you enter them, they cannot be changed.
I may not take the car but that’s doesn’t mean someone else can’t have the bargain and benefit from the discount day 😃

In your account, go to payment section, then continue, then in the review and pay page, there is a button for wire details
All payments showing on my account now and balance is €0 and has changed to preparing for delivery. It’s still 19 April to 04 may.
So I asked Tesla chat this morning if they could ping my VIN and see where it's located ( LRWYHCFS5PC75XXXX). They said it's NOT in the UK, but on the way to Southhampton and will then be shipped to Ireland. Which is odd. I asked what ship and was told " I can't discuss that with you" and that " Apr 19th - May4th is an estimated period not a confirmed delivery window it is still subject to change" .
According to MrMiserable over on the TMC shipping forum there's only 1 ship on the way to Southhampton (Morning Calypso). Another ship docked in Southhampton with tesla's on board yesterday (Grande Contonou)so maybe it was on that, but I've no idea where to check my VIN on either of them.

It will almost certainly leave by the end of April in order for cars to be delivered to customers before the end of June. And more likely to be in the last 2 weeks of April so as to have extra orders for Ireland included.

Any idea on when the next shipment leaves Shanghai? And how long from when it leaves to picking up your car? I'm in the frustrated and vague Apr - June delivery slot and I've no VIN!
I assume I'm one of quite a few people who are silently watching, waiting and wishing you all the best in getting discounted price! I can only imagine the sense of satisfaction that will be attached to any of the cars bought successfully, a pub tale to carry you through the next few years too! 😁
I'm going to pay a small bit off my "discounted" car. Has no legal standing, but if I've paid more then the standard €250 order fee, I can make the argument they asked me to pay & I started doing so- accepting money nearly a week later doesn't look good for them if they made a mistake & haven't been in contact.... 😝
Is it really though? (I honestly don't know). They ran it 3 times and delivered at least one car, plus its still available in Europe. A pricing error is one thing but false advertising and coercing to accept a higher price is another. Whatever happens its an excellent example of how not to manage a situation. Ill only take anything in writing tbh. Ill be running as far as i can with it.
I don’t think so? Was it not in relation to another query and they mentioned it on the same call? So much discussion I forget where we are now with calls 😂
So far we've only heard of one person getting the official call to cancel right?
I don't see how it helps either way, if they want to go down the route of pricing error, claiming that an offer was incorrectly applied to the Irish market is a pretty easy position.
and still a boat load of MY with discounts in Europe available just like they were in Ireland.. this is going to take some explaining from Tesla to not honor the same promotional pricing in Ireland.

They sent two last week to cancel a car while i was on the phone with them - which I didn't receive so they then sent it over email instead. Then over chat they sent a few test ones which i didn't receive. Although they received my test one.
Super strange. I just hope it's true that all comms also come by email so I won't miss anything.
How do you know you’re not receiving text messages? I find the messages I receive to be random. I have 2 orders and the automated messages differ for both orders. The chat feature via txt I get replies sometimes a few days later and for other queries nothing. I have just accepted it to be the Tesla way. Similar to the messed up pricing on the online account making no sense.
Tesla probably won’t text you again until you need to schedule collection so don’t worry there can be huge gaps between txts if they need anything they will let you know
Has anyone had an issue with not receiving text messages from Tesla? Stopped last week and now I'm worried I'll miss a text about fire sale update or to book collection date.
Tesla have the correct number and I'm on chat for the last 45 mins trying to get it fixed but nothing seems to be working.
