Our damp climate won’t help and it’ll be a real pita to have to clean multiple cameras several times a day
Not quite I suspect but I’d like to see a real back to back test at motorway speeds.
Wonder is there a difference in turning circle between the RWD and AWD Model Y?
My Model 3 RWD while not as good as my old ID.3 doesn't cause me any problems. Ok, have to be a bit more careful in narrow multi story carparks. We have a AWD diesel Kuga in work, its got a poor turning circle compared to the fwd version.
Hi
Just checking, there's definitely no problem continually charging the MY RWD to 100%? Taking advantage of thr super off leak from 0200-0400
Full video :
If you ever wondered what happens when you reach 0% battery….
ID buzz performance really is a bit of a let down
Watched that last night.
You knew the MY was going to be the winner but the surprise for me was the Nissan and Matt’s opinions that it may be better quality wise than the Merc.
Which will depreciate quicker the RWD or the LR ?
With the additional longevity of the LFP batteries and the cheaper starting price I'm thinking the RWD should do better ?
Traditionally the more expensive a car the greater the depreciation %, the LFP battery is a big selling point and more of the prospective market will be able to buy a Y second hand when the time comes so I would expect it to hold more of its initial cost is residual values
I think the problem with the RWD re-sale will only come down to those who want a quicker car. The MY RWD if I’m not mistaken is the slowest Tesla available.
Having had some very quick cars and now driving a Y RWD performance is all relative, put it this was the Y is as fast of not faster than a MKV GTI to 60, given it’s size it’s plenty fast enough for a family car, the performance will be more than enough for 99% of buyers
You’re probably right to be fair. In reality the real impact on future re-sale will be down to Tesla’s pricing model going forward
The turning circle is indeed pretty unimpressive, still loving my Y though
In 4 years time will a 350KM real world range cut it .. might be regarded as not enough?
For anyone with white leather seats, how are you getting on. All very wipable as had been advised by anyone online who's had for years.
I will say after just under 2 weeks of ownership - with 3 kids seats across the back and no covers. I got a bit of fright as to the imprint they left when I took them all out today.
Thankfully a few hours later the imprints have faded to very little, but its a warning, a few months/years down the line Id reckon they would be well enough damaged. so need to get my ass in gear to get some protectors....
3 year old car with white seats here. All good once your not an animal. 3 kids, 2-11 in there daily!
they look immaculate, cheers. Its the imprint of the car seats I fear. and as my gang are 1,3,4 ill be using seats for sometime!!!
Same for me. The imprint goes after a while as I recently swapped him from the rear right to the rear left.
But that’s the same for any car in fairness.
I got car seat covers from amazon
check your accounts lads .. cars are being removed see here :
Jesus they really know how to make things a whole lot worse!
No method in the madness either. I wonder if contacting customer services in UK might be the best approach here for them to hopefully reinstate your full price order?
Couldn't write it! my firesafe car still showing anyway. it could be on borrowed time though.....
Which ones did you order ? I can't find any with white backs on them.
I had a good look, there are some on AliExpress not white but a cream color. would likely take a few months
They would be almost completely hidden in my case with 3 seats so might just go black, something like the below. Irish company too from Galway, Good price too!
Anyone know if you can buy induction wheels for MY after delivery from Tesla? if not, anyone know where I could get a set?
thanks 👍🏻
Greendrive seem to have them
Thanks. I came across that website but wasn’t sure how legitimate it was. 🤷♂️😃
Not from Tesla no.
Greendrive are 100% safe.
Just to be clear, they are replicas.
Nothing wrong with that just clarifying.
