It's a new orthodox church tradition, you bless the corpse while its upright with holy water.
They are on the receiving end of a death sentence and they know it.
Throughout the month of March Russia managed to gain an additional 0.01% of Territory ...
Must be time for this clip again:
Over seas aid,
1.3 billon to 1.5 billion per year,we send more money out on overseas aid ,than we spend on our defense year on year
Looks a bit like squid game.
With nosferatu in the front row.
Last rites in advance?
We don't send financial aid to Africa, we provide for development through NGOs and UN agencies. Our money in Africa helps people, Chinese money in Africa helps China.
Our money funds regimes who in turn buy weapons.
We do send aid to Africa
We don't provide funding to "regimes". Our aid is provided through channels that are very transparent and they are independently monitored. Unless you're saying they have somehow weaponised high-calorie food?
"Russia always starts off wars badly..."
This is the kind of reasoning that some apologists are using to suggest that Russia can turn this around at some stage. Russia's main hope of turning this around is the West withdrawing support or dramatically downscaling it. I would point out, however, that this would not be so much a case of Russia turning anything around so much as it would be a case of a circumstance beyond their control fortuitously changing. If Russia had the chops to really advance their forces, they could have taken the last six months to try and bypass Bakhmut altogether and target larger settlements further west - something they have shown next to no capability of doing.
Some people like to point out that it's like Western media has been constantly trying to downplay the strategic importance of Bakhmut, but I would say that when you've been trying to take the same town for months on end, giving your enemy amply time to fortify the other towns lying west of it, it will diminish in strategic importance. One thing has become clear in this conflict and that is that as things stand no-one is going to be making much in the way of an advance without the significant ability to attack with speed/mobility. We know that Ukraine is getting a lot of toys from NATO and a lot of training for them to this end. Are Russia building any fast armour and training their troops on combined assault tactics and attempting to become more technologically-sophisticated or are they just sitting on their hands and attempting to wait out NATO support? Right now, I really don't seem to see a whole lot of new thinking from them. They seem to playing a numbers game and they're not even winning at that.
That would be an ecumenical matter.
Our money.
Exactly my point. If they want to cosy up to Russia and China then I would like my money sent elsewhere.
Who's they?
Apparently Russia has lost most of its artillery detection radar and can't replace it because they need western parts to do so. As usual the next phase depends on how much support from the west Ukraine will get. Ukraine needs to bomb Bakhmut to smithereens. More artillery.
Good at taking out Russians too
Bakhmut is not going well for the orcs.
99% of those 'soldiers' don't want to be there but have no choice. It's as much a tragedy for them as the Ukranians. I don't really get the approbrium aimed at the Russian soldiers. It should be aimed at those in charge.
Same old. Same old.
Nah.
They could surrender and face a better faith.
They are as complicit in all of this.
Russia taking over presidency in United nations security council is starting well, and its no aprilsfool
Reminds one of the Blackadder quote "Field Marshal Haig is about to make yet another gargantuan effort to move his drinks cabinet six inches closer to Berlin."
Hopefully April goes the same way. It would be glorious if Bakhmut didn't fall this month either. The weather is shite for attacking and logistics so there probably won't be any major Ukrainian offensive this month. Bakhmut keeping the Russians occupied for another month would be ideal.
And if they take it hopefully the place is a ruined shell.
Powered Milk, for one. I live near the Aurivo Milk Drying plant. There are warehouses nearby filled with millions 9f tins of Milk formula, all on pallets ready for shipping to Africa and the Middle East.
Germany's socialist party have won this round.
Weapon aid stopped indefinitely now as not even a new bullet has been reordered for the army.
Trump was often a looper but the pressure he put on Germany regarding its defense spending failures, its putting all its eggs in the Russian basket was right and should have been echoed by every leader in Europe.
The future of Ukraine always was and always will be down to US support.
Fascinating article about the Ukrainian teenage drone makers defending Bakhmut.

Melitopol hit again with HiMars ,
A railway depot for the third time this week alone, since late January/early February HiMars have been hitting Melitopol more than any where else,
That's not aid. It's sold privately at quite a substantial profit. The reason the warehouses are full is because its not coffee stable Milk powder and there isn't much of a market for that type of powder. Also they've lost their Chinese market too. So they will store it in the warehouses until the market changes as it has a long shelf life. If they were to sell the non coffee stable powder now there wouldn't be much profit.
He already looks dead ,in the second video as they gets hit and has his ear twisted he doesn't even move or react ,it's not the first or the last time we see this unfortunately, the same Russians will be crying the Geneva convention when captured by Ukrainians
They really are some piece of work.
Still can’t fathom how they are doing all this while sitting on the UN.
Also how they are still getting away with this whole mess in general.
Germany's government has shown itself up to be utterly pointless in this conflict and too many in the government and past governments seem to be compromised by Russian money.
